Think usually where where that comes is, like, that reflection period, you use something that
00:00:05
you do right now as you use the mornings for a more meditative state.
00:00:09
I wouldn't really use those as a review state.
00:00:12
I think it's projecting what, is to come.
00:00:16
And then at night, when you evaluate for, like, 5 minutes, that's a great time just to, like,
00:00:22
draw a circle.
00:00:23
Welcome to the Full Field podcast.
00:00:25
I'm gonna set what the new
00:00:26
normal looks
00:00:26
like in my life.
00:00:27
You're not limited by your genetics.
00:00:27
You have
00:00:28
our superpower that is if the people are.
00:00:29
So, unfortunately,
00:00:29
most businesses aren't gonna use the highest quality ingredients.
00:00:33
What's
00:00:37
your approach?
00:00:38
Jacked.
00:00:38
I know he's Jacked.
00:00:39
That's why I'm asking him.
00:00:40
I'm like he's changed.
00:00:40
I don't think he lives.
00:00:42
Yeah.
00:00:42
It's consistency in everything that we do that really compound.
00:00:46
Only way we're gonna get the word out is with you.
00:00:48
Live full fueled.
00:00:49
Live the on limits, baby.
00:00:51
Let's go.
00:00:53
Welcome to the Full Fueled podcast with your host, Matt Taich.
00:00:57
And doctor Alfred Alessi.
00:01:00
What's up, man?
00:01:01
Today, we're, gonna be talking about some habits and habit structure.
00:01:05
I know you're rolling through a book right now.
00:01:08
I'm a big believer in Atomic Habits by James Clear.
00:01:10
But the habit mechanic, I believe you're reading through.
00:01:13
Who's the author on that?
00:01:16
Doctor John.
00:01:17
Doctor John Finn.
00:01:19
Doctor John Finn.
00:01:21
Yeah.
00:01:21
He's a cool man.
00:01:21
He's psychologist.
00:01:23
It's a good book, man.
00:01:24
You know, it's very practical and it's like stuff you can implement, but it's not
00:01:28
overwhelming because that's the whole thing with habits is like everyone's like, oh, I'm
00:01:32
going to get healthy in the New Year.
00:01:33
I'm going to start drinking a gallon of water.
00:01:36
I'm going to start working out every day.
00:01:37
I'm going to start doing X.
00:01:38
And they stack like 10 habits and then they do none.
00:01:41
You know what I mean?
00:01:42
Where it's like it's like start with 1 pick one thing that you can repeat on a daily basis when
00:01:46
it gets to be no longer really a habit, but more so like you're just your daily routine and
00:01:51
non negotiable.
00:01:52
Now add another one.
00:01:53
You know what I mean?
00:01:54
And so that's kind of like the thing.
00:01:56
These are like do the stuff.
00:01:58
The first couple of things we're going to talk about today are things that take you 30 seconds
00:02:01
to do.
00:02:02
Right?
00:02:02
Everyone has 30 seconds.
00:02:03
So it's and it's and it's powerful.
00:02:05
So, yeah, I
00:02:08
people do and people do stuff every day.
00:02:10
That's what, James Clear talks about a ton.
00:02:13
Right?
00:02:14
It's like, what do you do every single day that then you could add something to that takes
00:02:19
maybe less than 5 seconds to add that to?
00:02:22
So one of the things that I've done is, okay, I like drinking a cup of coffee in the morning.
00:02:27
But before coffee, you gotta drink water.
00:02:29
Right?
00:02:30
And so I drink water and then I drink a cup of coffee.
00:02:34
So that's one thing that I've done.
00:02:37
But another thing that I've done just as a just pure habit structure is before I get in the
00:02:43
shower, I do core work because I know I'm gonna get sweaty anyway.
00:02:47
Or I know, like, so I'm gonna get, like, just my central nervousness is gonna get a little
00:02:51
hotter.
00:02:51
It might get a little sweaty, but I'm going into the shower anyway.
00:02:54
So what does that matter?
00:02:55
So I dedicate 3 minutes of core workout before I get in the shower.
00:02:59
So those are just some of the habits that I've stacked that I'm like, okay.
00:03:03
Not everyone, like, is gonna do the core work right before the shower, but it's a great time
00:03:07
to do it.
00:03:08
I'm not gonna lie to you, because I'm taking the shower regardless.
00:03:12
Like, regardless, I'm taking a shower.
00:03:14
So why not add something to that?
00:03:16
It's the same thing with brushing your teeth.
00:03:17
Like, if you put a glass of water by your toothbrush, well, you're more apt to drink that
00:03:22
glass of water, before you brush your teeth.
00:03:26
And then there's another thing too that he's that he does is putting a book by your toilet.
00:03:32
Right?
00:03:32
Because the reality is is likely everyone's gonna take a shit every day.
00:03:36
Right?
00:03:36
Every day.
00:03:37
And it's probably gonna be at the, like, in the same toilet.
00:03:41
Right?
00:03:42
So Yeah.
00:03:43
There there there's a high percentage of likelihood.
00:03:45
So it's like putting the odds in your favor.
00:03:47
And then when a book's there, well, you know, great time to take a poop and read a couple
00:03:54
pages.
00:03:54
Let's offload some stuff and unload some knowledge.
00:04:00
That's great, man.
00:04:01
That's good.
00:04:02
Yeah.
00:04:02
You know, like my house, if you come into my condo, like, I live alone.
00:04:05
So, like, I don't care.
00:04:06
I don't have to clean up for anyone.
00:04:08
My dinner table is where I do, like, my studies and stuff and my journaling.
00:04:12
So, like, every night before I go to bed, I have my Bible here, I have my journal, and then
00:04:16
I have the book I'm reading.
00:04:18
And they're right next to each other with a 32 ounce mason jar and then my little espresso
00:04:23
cup.
00:04:23
They're empty, but I put them there so that when I wake up, you know, I brush my teeth,
00:04:28
take my my supplements and whatever.
00:04:30
I come out here and I get into my word.
00:04:33
I fill my cup up with water and salt and then I have my espresso.
00:04:36
And so it's like, that's a habit, right?
00:04:38
And that's stacking those things together.
00:04:40
So I do that every single morning.
00:04:43
The dude, the first thing that this book teaches you that's so cool that I've been doing
00:04:47
every day and it has made me get better at, you know, my goal was to meditate every day.
00:04:54
Like, that's the thing.
00:04:54
I was like, Man, I keep missing that or I'm forgetting it or I'm putting it off or stuff
00:04:58
getting me busy, you know?
00:05:00
So I was like, I need I like this is so good for me and my mental state and my nervous
00:05:04
system.
00:05:05
So he calls it the daily t plan.
00:05:08
T is spelled t e a, but the t e a stands for tiny empowering action.
00:05:13
So it's like this tiny empowering action you can do every day that's gonna elevate yourself
00:05:17
or get you closer to your goals.
00:05:18
And it's specific to you.
00:05:20
Right?
00:05:20
So I'll kind of go through it, kind of the steps and then how to create an, like, an
00:05:25
example of it.
00:05:26
Right?
00:05:26
So I'll basically kind of like read this, but, the first thing is you have to rate yourself.
00:05:31
So step 1 of the daily t plan is rating yourself.
00:05:33
How well did you do your best to be your best and achieve your goals yesterday or so far
00:05:38
today?
00:05:38
Right?
00:05:39
Depending on how you wanna do it.
00:05:41
So you could go 0 to 10.
00:05:43
You could say, you know, great to to not great.
00:05:47
You could do, like, a smiley face, not smile.
00:05:49
However, you want to rate yourself.
00:05:50
Just rate yourself right.
00:05:51
That way you're kind of keeping yourself accountable.
00:05:53
You can look back and be like, all right.
00:05:54
You know, I'm going to put myself for yesterday.
00:05:56
Honestly, I was like an 8 man.
00:05:58
Like, I, I definitely accomplished a lot of stuff that we said we're going to that morning.
00:06:02
I did do my meditation.
00:06:04
So, like, I was, you know, I was on point with kind of what I was trying to get.
00:06:08
So that's step 1, rate yourself.
00:06:10
How did you do yesterday or, you know, today if if you're going with today?
00:06:14
Step 2, create the tiny empowering action.
00:06:17
So some examples would be like, I only wanna check the news once today.
00:06:22
I'm gonna go for a 5 minute walk at lunchtime, or I wanna eat I wanna drink 24 ounces of water
00:06:28
before I leave the house.
00:06:29
Right?
00:06:30
Or, I'm not going to check my Instagram until 9 AM.
00:06:33
That's something that I've already dialed in as, like, a habit.
00:06:36
Right?
00:06:36
But it started out with this.
00:06:38
I don't check social media until 9 AM.
00:06:40
I get everything else done first.
00:06:41
So then you could you write down that t right today?
00:06:44
I'm going to x y z.
00:06:46
And then so that is then kind of based like where you will rate yourself the next day is
00:06:51
like, did I get that done?
00:06:52
Did I not?
00:06:53
And then step 3 is more of like self accountability, but it's explaining yourself
00:06:57
why.
00:06:58
So this will take you, man.
00:06:59
This will take you less than a minute to do.
00:07:01
Rate yourself, write down your your tiny empowering action, and then underneath it, why?
00:07:06
Why am I gonna do that?
00:07:07
So for me, it's I was an 8 out of 10 yesterday.
00:07:09
I was I was pretty dialed in.
00:07:11
Today, my tiny empowering action is gonna be to meditate for 5 minutes in on my lunch break.
00:07:16
And then why?
00:07:17
Because it calms my central nervous system, allows me to be more present, and will allow me
00:07:21
to then reach the goals that we have set for our business.
00:07:24
Business.
00:07:24
So it's pretty pretty awesome.
00:07:25
I love the daily tea plan.
00:07:26
It's been great.
00:07:27
I have a space in my journal that I do it, so big fan of it.
00:07:32
Yeah.
00:07:32
The one thing that, we were talking about actually prior to this, and I think that it's
00:07:39
good to point out because, like, it's good to be vulnerable too, is, like, there's gonna be
00:07:44
seasonalities.
00:07:45
But, like, building these levels at the end of the day, habits are discipline.
00:07:49
And so the quality of your habits are gonna be the quality of your discipline.
00:07:54
And so one thing for me, Hurricane Milton, I'm telling you, like going through 2 hurricanes
00:08:00
and not knowing really the anxiety that it was putting on me, because I feel like I'm pretty
00:08:05
even keel when it comes to, like, just like big events coming through.
00:08:09
But, the amount of media attention that's absorbed and all that, it, like, literally
00:08:14
deflates you.
00:08:15
And I'm not gonna lie.
00:08:16
I was just telling to you, I was like, dude, like, deflated right now a little bit.
00:08:20
So much fear, dude.
00:08:22
There's so much fear mongering.
00:08:24
Right?
00:08:24
And so it's like we had to, my wife and I, during this, we had to, like, legitimately say
00:08:30
goodbye to our house.
00:08:31
If if the case that it, like, basically flooded, we're like, goodbye.
00:08:35
You know?
00:08:36
We did as much as we could, But the reality is we live on the water and your car flooded, you
00:08:42
know, up to 6 feet during hurricane Helene.
00:08:45
So I was like, dude, if your car flooded, we're on the river.
00:08:49
Be a very well like hurricane Milton.
00:08:51
What they're saying, a 15 foot flood surge.
00:08:53
Our house is underwater.
00:08:54
And so we had to say goodbye to our house.
00:08:56
So, like, we're leaving for Orlando, and I'm like, it didn't really hit then, but it's like,
00:09:01
dang, like, you know, you're thinking about it and how much that actually takes away from you.
00:09:05
You're like, alright.
00:09:05
There's a little anxiety in that that you're gonna come home, and it's like your house your
00:09:09
house is just gonna be completely ruined.
00:09:12
So then there's this element of, like, kind of relief too when you come back, but then your
00:09:17
house is just, like, in mayhem.
00:09:19
And so, we've spent the last, you know, couple days, like, obviously, coming back and putting
00:09:25
our house back together, but then it becomes like I did I didn't get to work out for a few
00:09:30
days.
00:09:31
You know, I was telling you I have a few injuries.
00:09:33
So, like, those things come against you.
00:09:36
Now it's the power of your habits to getting like, creating the disciplines that are so
00:09:41
important of those tiny daily wins that you're talking about.
00:09:45
Yeah.
00:09:45
Like, going for a walk, you know, meditating, getting up, getting in the word, drinking water
00:09:52
and making sure you're taking care of your health, in the process because those are the
00:09:57
disciplines that are ultimately going to shorten the gap for you to get out of, like,
00:10:01
kind of that season a little bit more quickly.
00:10:03
And so for me, it, like, definitely hit me hard.
00:10:06
I'm saying, like, I'm probably a little bit on the backside of it and moving out of the
00:10:11
direction of where I need to head.
00:10:13
But, like, it was a lot.
00:10:14
It was frickin it was a ton, man, especially knowing, like, even the clinic.
00:10:20
Right?
00:10:20
A little bit of worry because I'm like, dude, it ain't it ain't it's not like it's like that
00:10:24
far away from the river.
00:10:26
Who knows what happens?
00:10:28
All these things.
00:10:28
And it definitely did shut us down for a period of really it shut us down for a period of
00:10:33
almost a week, really, because there was people canceling.
00:10:37
You know, people are freaking out.
00:10:40
So it's just all the things that kind of come into place that you're just like, all right,
00:10:44
now we got to get back to basics.
00:10:46
And that's really what the basics are, is that you're talking about these small daily
00:10:50
disciplines that are small wins, right, that you can come back to the heart of gratitude
00:10:55
like mine.
00:10:56
My wife and I started doing, like, just praying.
00:10:58
Right?
00:10:58
She takes a prayer one night.
00:11:00
I take a prayer another night.
00:11:01
And it's just like that prayer of gratitude of, like, god, just let us sleep tonight.
00:11:05
I mean, we went with power.
00:11:06
We just got power in yesterday.
00:11:08
So we went with power for a full week, where you're, like, taking cold showers and you're
00:11:13
not feeling really clean after a cold shower.
00:11:15
Still sweating after.
00:11:16
Yeah.
00:11:18
It's like Yeah.
00:11:19
You know what I mean?
00:11:19
It's it's all these things that you just you have to, like, kind of bounce back from.
00:11:24
But these small, tiny daily disciplines are, like, that's what keeps you moving forward.
00:11:30
And, I know that for me, hands down, it's some of these, like, small disciplines of, like,
00:11:35
yeah.
00:11:35
Alright.
00:11:35
I need to drink water.
00:11:36
I need to get my electrolytes in me.
00:11:37
I need to get to the gym and work out.
00:11:39
You need to do these things because those are what create the small wins that are ultimately
00:11:44
gonna be a bigger impact down the road.
00:11:46
Well, dude, prime example.
00:11:47
That's what kept me grounded during that whole weekend.
00:11:50
Right?
00:11:50
Like, I live here on the water.
00:11:51
Like, I this building is is old.
00:11:54
You know?
00:11:55
If the hurricane would have hit, like, full speed, like, they were saying, like, category
00:11:58
5, this building might have been been destroyed.
00:12:00
And so, like, I'm at my parents' house, like, holding down there for that could have gotten
00:12:05
wrecked too.
00:12:05
So, like but the thing that kept me grounded was these daily habits, man.
00:12:08
Like, I still woke up.
00:12:10
I still drank my water.
00:12:11
I did my espresso.
00:12:12
I did my journal.
00:12:13
I did my my Bible.
00:12:14
Right.
00:12:15
I was doing all the things that I do every single day.
00:12:17
And that's because it's been the last 4 or 5, 6 months that I've created habits that are now
00:12:21
just like, that's what I do.
00:12:23
Right?
00:12:23
Like, when I was, like, packing to go stay at my parents house, I didn't bring much, but I
00:12:28
brought my stuff that I do my daily habits.
00:12:30
You know what I mean?
00:12:31
And so it was like, I'm not going to miss that man because, like, that's how you keep that
00:12:34
structure and then you get right back into it, man.
00:12:37
They praise God.
00:12:37
Like, nothing catastrophic.
00:12:39
Right?
00:12:39
Like, we didn't have, like, anything insane.
00:12:41
So it's great, man.
00:12:44
You know, the the next one that he he goes through in this book is actually really great
00:12:49
kind of segue off of that.
00:12:50
It's all about, like, gratitude and kind of reflection.
00:12:53
So it's like, obviously, there's some reflection in the daily tea plan, but most of
00:12:57
that is more so, like, setting a goal or, like, kind of, like, you know, hey.
00:13:01
Why am I gonna do something?
00:13:01
Here's what I'm gonna do.
00:13:03
The next one, he calls it the daily 33 to 1 reflection.
00:13:06
So, like, 3 colon 1.
00:13:08
And so, basically, it's again, 30 seconds to a minute is what it's gonna take you to do this
00:13:13
more if you want to to, like, really reflect and meditate on it.
00:13:16
But three things that you're either grateful for, that you love, or that just, like,
00:13:20
happened that were positive.
00:13:21
Right?
00:13:22
Positive reflections, 3.
00:13:23
Right?
00:13:24
So, you know, it'd be like, I got to see my boys.
00:13:26
I hung out with my sons.
00:13:28
I saw my sister and her new baby.
00:13:31
Our house didn't get blown away.
00:13:32
Right?
00:13:33
Three positive things.
00:13:34
And then one thing that you're like, hey, I could have improved on this.
00:13:37
So it's like start with the gratitude, the positive stuff to really get you kind of more
00:13:40
into, like, a positive space.
00:13:42
And then more of like a, hey, like, this needs work or, you know, I didn't I didn't exercise
00:13:48
today.
00:13:49
Right?
00:13:49
Whatever it might be.
00:13:50
Tomorrow, I'm going to x y z.
00:13:52
So that's the 3 to 13 positives and then one thing that needs a little to be addressed or
00:13:57
need some some work, some effort.
00:13:59
And again, that's, like, more of an end of the day kind of thing.
00:14:03
Does he have, like is there, like, a little scorecard analysis?
00:14:06
Is there or is that just like basically is that 1 to 10 how you did that day?
00:14:11
In the on the t plan?
00:14:12
Yes.
00:14:13
It's like a one like again, you can rate it how you want, but I do 1 to 10.
00:14:16
So like, I just like that system.
00:14:18
It's easier.
00:14:18
Yeah.
00:14:20
But, yeah, that's basically how he does that.
00:14:23
Yeah.
00:14:23
I teach our guys to evaluate through a circle.
00:14:28
I can if
00:14:29
you see it back here, I don't know if you can see my whiteboard.
00:14:32
Yeah.
00:14:32
Did mine today, but I just draw a circle.
00:14:35
And then I do, kind of 6 pillars.
00:14:38
Right?
00:14:38
Mind, spirit, work, fuel, movement, sleep.
00:14:42
And then I go through 1 to 10 and just rate myself really quickly on those and then divide
00:14:48
that by 60.
00:14:49
So, like, whatever I get out of that.
00:14:52
And then I look at 1, and I'm like, hey.
00:14:54
Which one do I want to improve on today?
00:14:57
Yeah.
00:14:57
The most work.
00:14:58
Or 2.
00:15:00
So, like, if I'm dipping into 50, 60% of, like, optimized territory, alright.
00:15:06
How do I just bump that up to 65%?
00:15:09
Like, what is it that I just need to focus on to bump that up a few degrees?
00:15:13
And I can pick, like, 1 or 2.
00:15:15
In that case, like, maybe 3 is tops, but, like, you're not gonna take all 6.
00:15:19
Right?
00:15:20
Bump them all up at once, but it's how you pull levers, to grow from that.
00:15:24
So, I know this past week, I dipped below 60, and I was like, dang, man.
00:15:28
I gotta, like, I gotta pop myself up in some areas.
00:15:31
And so then what are those?
00:15:33
Well, that's why that reflection
00:15:34
is so important because if you're not doing that, then you're just gonna keep going about
00:15:38
life, and you're going to that 60 is going to be become 50, you're going to become 40.
00:15:42
Now you're operating at, like, 30% of your, you know, your, capacity of what you can accomplish
00:15:48
and you're not going to be getting anything done.
00:15:50
So I think reflection is, I mean, key, man.
00:15:52
So that's honestly, that's good.
00:15:54
That's 3 exercises people can do.
00:15:56
Pick 1.
00:15:56
I wouldn't say do all 3.
00:15:58
Start with 1, whether it's the t plan, whether it's the 3 to 1 or doing the 6 pillars.
00:16:02
I like the pillars, man.
00:16:04
We came up with that, you know, when we when we started this podcast, kind of our our areas of
00:16:09
focus.
00:16:10
We have a graphic.
00:16:11
We'll add the graphic into this episode so people can see, but fuel movement, sleep, mind,
00:16:18
work, and spirit.
00:16:19
Right?
00:16:20
And then like you said, 0 to 10 scale on all of those, add those up, and that gives you a
00:16:25
percentage out of out of a 100.
00:16:26
Right?
00:16:27
So then it's you know, or whatever.
00:16:29
You do the math.
00:16:30
Figure it out.
00:16:31
But get your percent of
00:16:32
the divided by 60, and then you have to add a scale out of a 100, right, based on the
00:16:36
percentage.
00:16:36
Yeah.
00:16:37
And so then that kind of gives you, like, a grand scheme of here's how I'm operating.
00:16:40
Now you look and you're like, alright, sleep was sleep was 8 out of 10.
00:16:44
Exercise was 6 out of 10.
00:16:46
Work was 6 out of 10.
00:16:48
Spirit was 2 out of 10.
00:16:49
You're like, okay.
00:16:49
Like, I'm slacking in this area.
00:16:51
Now it's affecting, you know, other areas.
00:16:53
How do I boost that up to catch up and then ultimately improve my overall score?
00:16:58
So objective analysis of, you know, of life is awesome, man.
00:17:03
Yeah.
00:17:03
No.
00:17:04
It's it's crucial in understanding.
00:17:06
I think usually where where that comes is, like, that reflection period, you use something
00:17:11
that you do right now is you use the mornings for a more meditative state.
00:17:16
I wouldn't really use those as a review state.
00:17:19
I think it's projecting what is to come.
00:17:22
And then at night, when you evaluate for, like, 5 minutes, that's a great time just to, like,
00:17:28
draw a circle that I mentioned or use the t scale of, like, just having a 5 minute
00:17:33
reflection period of, like, what could I have done today to kind of boost performance or
00:17:39
whatever it might be, or go through your 3 daily gratitudes.
00:17:42
And then, hey, where's that boost boosting factor if I'm falling low and maybe, work or
00:17:49
fuel or whatever?
00:17:50
Like, you know, fuel is an easy one because it did I operate within, you know, the nutritional
00:17:55
guidelines that I said I would?
00:17:57
Right?
00:17:57
Did I hit my protein target?
00:17:58
Right?
00:17:59
That's an easy one for me.
00:18:00
Freaking gummy worms all day.
00:18:01
Yeah.
00:18:02
Go.
00:18:02
Yeah.
00:18:02
Exactly.
00:18:03
Yeah.
00:18:03
So that's an easy one for me, though, because I measure everything off our protein.
00:18:06
If I don't hit my protein targets, if I don't get over 200 grams of protein in a day,
00:18:10
optimally, 225 is what I set, then, like, I I didn't hit my nutritional target because I
00:18:16
wasn't I wasn't optimized.
00:18:17
Like I said, I was going to be.
00:18:19
So, like, every meal for me has to be balanced and portioned to protein.
00:18:23
So, like, did I get my, you know, like, chicken in?
00:18:25
Right?
00:18:26
When grocery shopping yesterday, did I get, you know, I'd lean light on fats and carbohydrates,
00:18:32
and I lean heavy on protein.
00:18:34
So did I get, you know, 2 protein shakes in a day?
00:18:38
I have 275.
00:18:39
Like, those are easy for me.
00:18:40
So, like, fuel is easy.
00:18:42
Movement, did I work out?
00:18:44
Right?
00:18:44
Did I walk?
00:18:45
Did I do these things?
00:18:47
And that's how, like, I'll measure myself based on, based on that.
00:18:52
So but, like, usually, what it comes down to is, like, mind, spirit, work.
00:18:55
Where am I where am I ebbing and flowing those areas, and how I truly can evaluate those?
00:19:01
Because, like, mine comes back of, like, did did yesterday, did I take the 5 minutes to,
00:19:07
like, measure my heart of gratitude?
00:19:09
Right.
00:19:10
That's more the mind.
00:19:11
Right.
00:19:12
And then that that is directly related to the spirit of, like, did I ask for discernment that
00:19:17
day from, like, the creator of the universe?
00:19:20
Yeah.
00:19:20
I should.
00:19:22
Like, yeah, tell me something that I need to know.
00:19:25
So so those are really important things to evaluate.
00:19:28
I think that's like that's just a cadence of, like, habit structure.
00:19:31
Right?
00:19:31
Something that takes you, you know, some of these things that you're mentioning take 30
00:19:36
seconds.
00:19:36
You know, some maybe take a couple of minutes, but, they
00:19:39
can go a long way once they compound.
00:19:42
Definitely, man.
00:19:43
Yeah.
00:19:43
You start stacking them again.
00:19:44
It's like I do I do 4 different habits at the same time that are, like, really empowering for
00:19:51
my body.
00:19:51
Right?
00:19:52
And my brain drinking water, doing my Bible study.
00:19:56
I read 10 pages of a book, which is this book I'm doing here, and then I journal and I dial
00:20:01
in my finishers journal, which we're both using, which awesome journal, by the way.
00:20:05
I'll plug it.
00:20:05
We don't have any affiliation with them, but the finishers journal is sick.
00:20:09
It's so good for if you've got it like a goal that you're you're trying to hit, whether
00:20:12
you're an entrepreneur, business, whatever, man, it is it it really gets you on focus.
00:20:17
So, you know, that's been that's been like an awesome factor for me.
00:20:22
But, yeah, I love these practical talks, bro, because, like, you know, like, people can just
00:20:27
take this stuff and then implement it.
00:20:28
Right?
00:20:28
And so we're like, really, you know, it's not hard.
00:20:31
It's just a matter of, like, doing it.
00:20:33
So we're here to, you know, just help you guys out with, you know, elevating you and giving
00:20:38
you structure and things that you can implement in your life that are not, again, not crazy
00:20:43
hard to do.
00:20:45
No.
00:20:45
They aren't.
00:20:45
I think it's I think it was a great podcast in terms of just being able to take 1 or 2 things
00:20:51
away.
00:20:52
And then scorecards, you're you're only as good as how you track your data.
00:20:55
Right?
00:20:56
What gets measured gets managed.
00:20:58
That's it, man.
00:20:59
Like, gets measured gets managed.
00:21:00
I love that.
