00:00:00
You guys all know him, Michael Phelps, one of probably the the greatest Olympic athlete ever.
00:00:04
So the year that they actually headed over in Beijing, he started swimming over there in one
00:00:09
of the floors.
00:00:10
His pork intake, right, which is the energy that you'd burn or met enormous, right, his
00:00:14
pork intake in his calorie burn went from 8 of 75 to 7500 and 8000 all the way to 10000.
00:00:23
10000 calories he's burning a day.
00:00:25
He didn't change up his return.
00:00:26
He didn't change if anything that us who was doing.
00:00:28
You know what the difference was?
00:00:30
The pool
00:00:32
was 4 degrees colder.
00:00:33
That's the only thing.
00:00:34
So that just goes to show you that that's what happens when you get into cold water is what it
00:00:40
does for the for your Cali bird.
00:00:42
Right?
00:00:42
Welcome to full fuel with your host, Matt Taq.
00:00:47
Out for the Lesley.
00:00:48
Doctor Alfred Alexis.
00:00:49
I always forget the doctor.
00:00:50
That's what
00:00:51
we're saying.
00:00:51
Like, oh, dog grooming.
00:00:52
We're
00:00:54
we're so excited to have a guest on our podcast today.
00:00:57
Yes.
00:00:57
We have Jocelynowski.
00:00:59
Honestly, he's a he's in Wyoming, which is awesome.
00:01:02
So thanks for taking the time today.
00:01:04
But, he is has grown a conglomerate of a roofing company, a real estate company, but
00:01:11
also is an inventor of an awesome new product called the chili pod which is going to change
00:01:17
the game and how we go about coal plunging on a daily basis.
00:01:21
I'm a massive fan of gold coal plunging.
00:01:24
It's something that I've operated in my routine.
00:01:26
Obviously, I've I've as I've aged and there's been insane amount of benefits across the board
00:01:32
that we're gonna dive into, but, welcome, Josh, to the podcast.
00:01:35
Hey.
00:01:36
Appreciate it, gentlemen.
00:01:37
It's gonna be fun.
00:01:37
Looking forward to this for sure.
00:01:39
I met you at the, well, spring event over there in Jacksonville with Tim Tbow and Pete Vargas.
00:01:44
It was awesome because he wore a shirt that had the chili pot on it.
00:01:49
I was like, dude, this guy's branding out.
00:01:51
I was like, what is a chili pot?
00:01:52
It had a penguin on it.
00:01:54
And I'm like, and I I literally, I'm just, like, over the moon with, like, just straight
00:01:59
cold plunge and cold water.
00:02:00
I I love that immersion piece and what it's done for me from health benefits.
00:02:04
And so I, like, I had to go over and ask him.
00:02:07
Yeah.
00:02:07
Found out what it was.
00:02:08
He's like, yeah, man.
00:02:09
I'm working on a really cruel product that's gonna change the game.
00:02:11
So let's just dive into that.
00:02:13
Yeah.
00:02:14
What how did how did you come up with the idea number 1?
00:02:17
Of, like, and you're not in the ad industry.
00:02:20
So tap into the kind of the backstory of how this all originated.
00:02:24
So, well, a couple years ago, I was actually having a great conversation with a really close
00:02:28
friend, and and I was talking about some of the ailments that I was experiencing personally.
00:02:34
You know, we're we're in Wyoming.
00:02:36
It gets cold as heck here.
00:02:38
I I'm not a cold weather guy, even though I live in the great state.
00:02:42
Kind of more of a California mindset kind of a guy.
00:02:44
Like, we keep our house at Sandy San Diego warm, 74 degrees up here.
00:02:50
And, and that causes some issues because, obviously, I mean, we're dealing with, I mean,
00:02:54
minus 40 degree weather sometimes.
00:02:56
We're we're dealing with ice and snow and sleet and all the fun wonderful experiences that you
00:03:00
can imagine in in beautiful Wyoming here.
00:03:03
And, with so one of the challenges that I was facing was that, the tips my fingers were
00:03:07
getting just consistently numb, yeah, because it just didn't have a lot of blood flow.
00:03:12
And so I was having, my extremities were being cold.
00:03:14
My my, my toes were cold.
00:03:16
And so as we were talking about this, he had mentioned about it, this gentleman that I'm
00:03:20
sure that you guys are all aware of, a guy named Wimhof.
00:03:23
And, so he'd asked me, he's like, hey, well, have you ever done Wim Hof?
00:03:26
Have you ever taken, like, a cold shower?
00:03:27
And I'm like, hell no.
00:03:28
I don't need to
00:03:28
go take a cold shower.
00:03:30
I'm not gonna I did that.
00:03:31
Sounds like horrible.
00:03:32
I'm already cold.
00:03:32
Why would I go and submerge myself and get even colder?
00:03:35
Yeah.
00:03:35
And, so he kinda walked me through the science of it and why this has actually been so
00:03:39
beneficial for him.
00:03:41
And, so I went and and signed up.
00:03:43
I I did the Wim Hof, challenge, basically.
00:03:47
So they you start off with a 30 second shower and then you work your way all the way up to a
00:03:51
10 minute cold shower.
00:03:52
And I gotta tell you, like, I, as much as I didn't like the process, the benefits of the
00:03:57
process were so amazing for myself.
00:04:00
And and so that, of course, obviously opened up my world to breathing, which is another thing,
00:04:05
of course, that Wimhop teaches.
00:04:06
But just the opportunity of what to sit down and meditate and breathe in the morning.
00:04:10
And then also, once again, just the cold or just at that time, it was the cold showers.
00:04:15
And, and then that got me into, well, I I I'm starting to do some research on cold plunging
00:04:20
and and cold therapy.
00:04:22
And so I got into cold therapy.
00:04:25
My first my first venture was getting a trough because at that time, there wasn't a lot of
00:04:29
products out there in the Right?
00:04:30
Yeah.
00:04:31
And and I didn't wanna invest 1000 of dollars, because I just was I was just starting to get
00:04:36
into it.
00:04:36
And so, one of the gals at our office, one of the companies that we have is real estate.
00:04:41
And she, she's got a ranch, and so she's got, you know, cows and horses and chickens and,
00:04:47
every type of animal that you could imagine that you'd have on a ranch.
00:04:50
And she had a she had a trough that she wasn't using.
00:04:53
And so I actually asked her, I was like, hey.
00:04:55
Would would you mind?
00:04:56
Would I could I take the trough?
00:04:57
And so my first experience was was actually in a in a trough.
00:05:00
And, I gotta tell you, like, the opportunity to go into a, a cold a cold therapy plunge as
00:05:08
opposed to a shower, is so much more beneficial, to be honest with you.
00:05:13
That it really got me on a on a on a, on a great routine, and it also really got me, doing
00:05:20
this more and more because I was just seeing the benefits of
00:05:23
That's awesome.
00:05:24
Yeah.
00:05:24
It's crazy.
00:05:25
So did you have to break the ice every morning?
00:05:28
Like, it would freeze over and you'd break the ice.
00:05:30
Like, there's a guy on Instagram right now that did 165 days.
00:05:33
He gotta slam the ice.
00:05:34
I think he's in, Canada.
00:05:36
Is that something you'd have to do?
00:05:38
Eventually, so what ended up happening is I I realized you know, about 6 months into it, I I
00:05:43
realized some of the challenges, that's in the industry as a whole.
00:05:46
Right?
00:05:46
And that was really the motivation, of where why we designed the product that we designed is
00:05:52
because we saw so many flaws in it.
00:05:54
Right?
00:05:55
You know, every morning and especially during the summertime, I mean, we have beautiful
00:05:58
weather in the summer and the fall here in Wyoming.
00:06:01
And so during the summertime, it would heat up.
00:06:03
And so, really, what ended up happening is because we had such warmer temperatures in the
00:06:07
summer, I'd go out into this this this trough and the temperature would be a a balmy 75
00:06:13
degrees.
00:06:13
Well, that that's bathwater.
00:06:15
Right?
00:06:15
So it defeats the purpose of getting into cold therapy.
00:06:18
Right?
00:06:19
Yeah.
00:06:19
I'd have to scrape off the bugs that were collected from the night before the leaves that
00:06:23
fell into it, and I'll never forget.
00:06:25
Like, this is what this is what just This is what made me actually invest into what I have
00:06:29
currently right now, which is the ice barrel.
00:06:31
As I woke up one morning, I'm getting ready to get in.
00:06:34
Of course, I'm excited to get in because I I just I've I've gotten to this point in my
00:06:37
routine that I just love it.
00:06:38
It's a part of my day.
00:06:39
I'm getting ready to get into trough, and there is a dead bird.
00:06:44
Fucking in the head off.
00:06:45
And I'm like Think dry.
00:06:47
I'm like, first, I'm like, what am I gonna do?
00:06:49
Like, do I remove it?
00:06:50
Or and then I'm a second, like, well, what if it's not dead.
00:06:53
Like, what if it's still alive?
00:06:55
And I go to pick it up, and
00:06:56
it starts freaking out.
00:06:57
Right?
00:06:57
So, I had a really big kind of come to Jesus moment with myself.
00:07:01
It was, is it really worth it to not invest in something that has a lid?
00:07:07
So so that one actually got me from actually going, okay, I gotta get rid of the trough.
00:07:12
And I gotta invest in something that hopefully that has got some high quality to it.
00:07:15
And that's when I bought at that time, the ice barrel.
00:07:17
That's awesome, man.
00:07:18
Well, so you were saying that, you know, like, a lot of that was the problems you experience
00:07:22
with these, this, trough, you know, you you don't wanna take baths with the the dead bird.
00:07:28
What makes the the chili pot different from some of these other products that are on the
00:07:31
market or what's kind of your approach there?
00:07:33
Yeah.
00:07:33
So what we recognize really fast in the industry that as a whole was just couple
00:07:37
things.
00:07:38
One is either the product was so cheap that it was not very efficient at all.
00:07:41
Right?
00:07:42
So a lot of them, you have to, you know, you blow them up.
00:07:45
And so the side walls are weak, so you can't maneuver in and out of it very well.
00:07:48
And then even those ones right there are so small.
00:07:50
So if you're an average, let's just say you're a six foot guy, £180, £190, you're you can't
00:07:55
get submerged into these smaller ice, ice buckets.
00:07:59
And then, of course, obviously, then there's the extreme.
00:08:01
So there's and there's nothing in between either.
00:08:03
So you're either spending a $100 on something, right, that's gonna last you potentially maybe
00:08:07
the summer because something's gonna happen.
00:08:09
You're gonna you're gonna You're gonna break it.
00:08:11
You're gonna bend it.
00:08:12
It's gonna it's gonna get a hole in it.
00:08:13
It's gonna get punctured.
00:08:14
Something's gonna happen.
00:08:15
It it always does.
00:08:17
Or you've gotta go into what now is, you know, the the the coal punch, which is, like, $7000.
00:08:22
Right?
00:08:23
And I'm like, I don't need a second mortgage on this.
00:08:25
I don't need, like, that's more money than I'm spending on my son's first car.
00:08:29
Right?
00:08:29
And so it was a huge pain point in the sense of just the financial cost of this as well too.
00:08:35
And so as we were looking at developing our, our chili dip, what we wanted to do was one is
00:08:41
affordability was huge for us.
00:08:43
I met so many people that want to do cold therapy.
00:08:47
So many people on it, but they do not wanna spend $7000 on something that could potentially
00:08:52
just be a fad for them.
00:08:53
Right?
00:08:53
Now more than likely, we know that it's not gonna be a fad.
00:08:55
They're gonna continue to do this because they see the benefits But just to get into it and
00:08:59
make that type of a financial commitment, I think, is, is asking a lot of somebody.
00:09:03
So financially, to be able to make this affordable for the average Joe person was a
00:09:08
huge thing for us.
00:09:09
The second thing is that I realized in this industry for people like our in, like, our cold
00:09:14
weather areas, even I had a lot of people that were down south in Florida and in in
00:09:17
California, not having an insulated tub or insulated, cold plunge, is a huge factor
00:09:26
because of the amount of heat that will come into that and, of course, the inconsistency
00:09:29
with temperature.
00:09:30
Now you have the addition to have cooler, a chiller with it too.
00:09:33
And so when we have we have an opt option for that as well too, but we wanted to make sure
00:09:37
that we had a product that was gonna be viable, that was going to make it consistent for you
00:09:42
regardless if you had added a chiller or not.
00:09:44
And so we're gonna be one of the first products out there that actually is insulated for cold
00:09:48
weather and for hot weather as too.
00:09:50
So you can have some consistency in it.
00:09:52
You know, the ease and x access as well to the pro to getting into the, the chili dip is
00:09:57
another vital aspect as well too.
00:09:59
And this because this is a personal thing that for me is, you know, my father is seventy two
00:10:03
years old.
00:10:04
You know, his body's been breaking down on him.
00:10:06
He's got knee replacement, shoulder replacements.
00:10:08
He's you know, he's a little bit overweight right now where it's not easy for him to just
00:10:13
get around in general.
00:10:14
And so, like, the ice barrel that I have, there's absolutely no way that he's able to get
00:10:18
into And if he didn't finally get into it, there's no way he's getting out of it.
00:10:22
Right?
00:10:22
I mean, that's the hard fact of it.
00:10:24
You know, I've got children that love it.
00:10:26
My daughter's absolutely love getting in into, to call therapy.
00:10:29
This is just they're just mentally tough.
00:10:31
Now my boys, I can't even get them to, like, put their ankles off.
00:10:36
So they're not nearly as tough as as our girls are.
00:10:39
But even our girls, you know, they have a I I have to lift them up into this barrel, right,
00:10:44
in order for them to get in, and then I have to lift them out of it as well too.
00:10:48
And so we wanted to have ease of access this because it shouldn't just be for athletes.
00:10:52
It shouldn't be for those that are, you know, physically fit and able to get in.
00:10:55
It should be for everybody, whether you're at a young age.
00:10:57
Or at your at a mature age where maybe the body at that time at that time really needs culture.
00:11:03
Those are just a couple of them I could go into probably about 6 or 7 more, but those are
00:11:06
probably, obviously, biggest things that we're doing and we're tackling.
00:11:09
And I do really feel like those are the things that are gonna really change this industry and
00:11:12
what we're gonna be able to provide for you.
00:11:13
Yeah.
00:11:13
That's huge.
00:11:18
If you wanna hear your question answered live on the show, submit it to ask at fullfuel.com

00:11:29

00:11:32
Live for fuel.
00:11:33
Lead beyond limits, baby.
00:11:38
One thing I wanna correct just for, like, our audience too.
00:11:41
I called it the chili pot a chili dip.
00:11:43
So Yep.
00:11:43
My bad.
00:11:44
Yeah.
00:11:44
And on the half day, it's
00:11:45
chili dip right there, man.
00:11:46
Chili dip.
00:11:47
Chili dip.
00:11:48
But so and then to give another visual is, I mean, basically, what they're creating right
00:11:54
now is, like, a, a good size yeti cooler for the human body, essentially.
00:11:59
Right?
00:12:00
That they're able to class shut down.
00:12:03
But then they're able to roll away.
00:12:05
So,
00:12:05
like, if you give a visual of, like, maybe you know, I hate to even visualize this, but, like,
00:12:09
an oversized trash can, right, with a seat in it that's a yeti cooler that has a lid that
00:12:16
comes down that you can protect the water.
00:12:18
And you can obviously but it's insulated enough where you can utilize it every day.
00:12:25
But you could yeah.
00:12:26
Exactly.
00:12:26
That and that's that's a big thing because to be honest with you, even with my plunge that I
00:12:31
use every day, It'll probably be more affected.
00:12:34
That chiller and that tub will be more affected by the range in Florida of the hot and cold
00:12:40
than what the chili dip will.
00:12:42
Because it's not that the tub itself is not incredibly well insulated.
00:12:48
Yeah.
00:12:48
So then during 90 degree weather, 100 degree weather, my chiller's running.
00:12:53
Right?
00:12:53
Keep up.
00:12:53
Yeah.
00:12:54
It it has a a, a very, like, lacked thermal cover to it, where it's it's not plant down.
00:13:02
It doesn't so it doesn't hold heat, or it doesn't hold the coldness extremely well.
00:13:06
So I've even seen that in mind.
00:13:08
I'm like, I I paid a small mortgage for this plunge.
00:13:13
And now I'm paying an extra on the mortgage, around the electric bill as well.
00:13:18
Yeah.
00:13:18
Because of the fact that it can't hold.
00:13:21
You you know, you can upgrade your covers, but at the same time, it still won't hold the the
00:13:26
same capacity as what, like, that yeti, right, would or that cover that would that would
00:13:31
thermally insulate that.
00:13:32
So that's I mean, that's next level and what they're doing, and I'm selling this even
00:13:36
further because I love idea the idea of the seat.
00:13:39
Right?
00:13:39
And I think you had mentioned that.
00:13:41
But to get the ease of use, the step up and the step out, that allows you to allows you to use
00:13:48
it with efficiency because I would love for, you know, my parents or somebody else to be
00:13:53
able to try it out.
00:13:54
My mother's bill they're going through cancer right now.
00:13:56
I'm like, I doubt she would do it long term, but I'm like, I love I would love for you just
00:14:01
to experience how you feel, if you can if you truly could make that a habit.
00:14:06
I mean, it's next level.
00:14:09
The what it what it does for the body.
00:14:11
Can you just talk?
00:14:12
You had tapped into it for a minute, but I wanted to see, like, the outcome.
00:14:17
So you it sounded like you had a little neuropathy, maybe in your hands, in your feet,
00:14:24
I I I would like to hear kind of like the before and after of that since and then and
00:14:30
then how long did it take?
00:14:31
What What was that process?
00:14:34
What did that look like?
00:14:34
Yeah.
00:14:35
Honestly, you know, so going through Wemhoff was just a great experience overall because of
00:14:39
what it did for me know, mentally.
00:14:40
So the first part of it, I think, a lot of it is just just that mental fortitude that I think
00:14:44
that a lot of us are looking for, especially if you are you know, an athlete or that you are
00:14:49
maybe you're just continuing to stay trying to stay physically fit.
00:14:51
You're always looking for the next challenge.
00:14:53
And so much of our so many of our challenges even though they appear to be physical, they're
00:14:57
a lot they're very mental.
00:14:59
Right?
00:14:59
Right.
00:14:59
And then as you get older, like, I, once again, I just kinda go to my father's age, he's
00:15:04
looking for the mental challenges that he can continue to put himself through because he
00:15:08
can't necessarily do the physical challenges anymore.
00:15:11
And so just that just that daily mental challenge of getting into the
00:15:15
uncomfortableness, right?
00:15:16
Yeah.
00:15:17
That for me was big.
00:15:18
I mean, I I really started to take on this mentality of I'm gonna tackle the hardest thing
00:15:23
that I need to do today, which is the uncomfortableness of getting into cold therapy.
00:15:26
Mhmm.
00:15:27
And what it made me do is it allowed me to be able to do something and listen, the body
00:15:33
doesn't know the difference between stress that comes from the outside, right, so from outside
00:15:38
sources or stress that comes from yourself.
00:15:41
Right?
00:15:41
Like, you intentionally put yourself it just sees stress.
00:15:44
Yeah.
00:15:44
Yeah.
00:15:45
And so the more that we can voluntarily put ourself under controlled stress, the better
00:15:49
we're gonna be able to deal with it throughout the day.
00:15:51
And so the mentality for me was I'm gonna put myself under extreme stress at the very
00:15:56
beginning of the day that I'm controlling So when I go and I show up in in into my
00:16:02
businesses and I do have challenges and I have challenging business partners.
00:16:05
I have challenging people that I'm dealing with the other day.
00:16:08
It's not nearly gonna be as stressful because I've already done some extreme things in the
00:16:12
morning that were under self control, right?
00:16:15
I think that's a vital important part of why why cold therapy is is important at the very
00:16:21
beginning.
00:16:21
And then once again, just the side effects or what the thing or is what I was experiencing
00:16:25
that was even more beneficial.
00:16:27
I got to the point where as about halfway through, I started noticing that the the
00:16:32
thermal temperature within my body was able to go outside with a t shirt on in 40 degree
00:16:39
weather 45 degree weather and be comfortable.
00:16:42
Yeah.
00:16:42
Like, I still don't prefer to be out in the cold weather.
00:16:45
I'll put a jacket on, but the fact that I can do it the fact that I can be outside and my
00:16:50
body is not going into complete shock to a certain point.
00:16:54
Right?
00:16:54
Because, you know, one of the things that happens when you when you start doing cold
00:16:58
therapy is that you get that vasospasm.
00:17:00
Right?
00:17:01
So your arteries start to constrict, and through all of your extremities, because, your
00:17:06
your basically, your body's going, okay.
00:17:07
It's shutting down.
00:17:08
I gotta start putting all that blood to the vital organs in in your body, which the 2 most
00:17:13
important vital organs that because it goes to is your heart and your brain.
00:17:17
Right?
00:17:18
So the more that you do that, the faster your body reacts to that.
00:17:21
And so once again, cold therapy, when you can do it consistently, it allows you to have that
00:17:27
blood flow go right to your heart and right to your brain.
00:17:29
So you have a little more cognitive response your blood starts pumping even, your heart
00:17:34
starts pumping even more blood.
00:17:35
And, of course, there's just a tremendous amount of other benefits when we start talking
00:17:38
about brand brown fat protein synthesis that happens within the body.
00:17:42
I mean, there's, like I said, the the the litany of this is is is actually pretty mind
00:17:46
bottling if if you think about, all of the other things that happened from it.
00:17:49
And this is the thing that's been fun for me is to discover all the benefits of cold lunging,
00:17:55
that I didn't even know happening.
00:17:56
Yeah.
00:17:56
But now I get to realize like, oh, this is why I feel this way.
00:18:00
This is why I'm recovering this way.
00:18:01
This is why I react in these situations.
00:18:03
So it's a great new awesome world to be venturing into for sure.
00:18:06
It's not that
00:18:07
that 40 degrees outside is any less 40 degrees.
00:18:10
Right?
00:18:10
It's still the same temperature.
00:18:12
Your internal response, that stress response that you're talking about is more adapted.
00:18:17
I talk about this all the time with, like, our body's ability to heal is just it's just
00:18:21
miraculous.
00:18:21
Right?
00:18:21
And if we can get rid of the outside things that are holding that back or if we can hack
00:18:26
it, right, this is, like, what we talk about, with biohacking.
00:18:28
Right?
00:18:29
You're hacking your body's, stress response to be more adapted to that.
00:18:32
That's that's awesome.
00:18:34
And so you you what's your is your background in engineering or or, like, anything like that?
00:18:39
I mean, you don't have much of that, but then you develop this product.
00:18:42
What were some of the, like, you know, because you're trying to change this market that has
00:18:46
kind of always been done the same way or, like, there's like you said, there's 2 different
00:18:50
spectrums.
00:18:50
It's super expensive, high level product or this, like, kinda junky.
00:18:54
Like, I might as well jump in a trash can for ice water product.
00:18:56
Like and you're in the you're trying to create something in the middle at a at a price range
00:19:00
that's affordable.
00:19:01
But it also is very technologically, like, advanced, you know, like, what were some of the
00:19:05
the difficulties there, man, creating that?
00:19:07
Knowing what was been happening in this industry for the last couple years.
00:19:10
The the biggest challenge, honestly, that we had to overcome was who would we partner in
00:19:14
order to build this?
00:19:16
And what I didn't wanna do too, gotta be like, listen, I'm a proud American, and I love to buy
00:19:20
American made products.
00:19:22
Right?
00:19:22
And so what we didn't wanna do is outsource potentially what this could look like.
00:19:27
And so We I I hesitated for a lot of for for for a long time trying to figure out the right
00:19:34
partnership, and we found an amazing company actually, that's in Casper, Wyoming.
00:19:40
Their competitors with YETI.
00:19:41
These guys are called Wild Gear.
00:19:42
We've been using their product for, in a lot of our other groups that we have.
00:19:47
And they are awesome.
00:19:48
These guys are amazing guys to deal with.
00:19:50
They have an amazing product as well too.
00:19:53
And so the conversation started happening around of fact that they were gonna start to
00:19:57
kind of branch outside and not just do their coolers and not do their, their drinkware that
00:20:02
they do now, And once we started having this conversation about what we wanted to provide,
00:20:06
they were like, dude, that perfectly aligns with what we can do.
00:20:09
And what we're really, really good at and what we wanna get into as well too.
00:20:13
So it just happened to be an amazing partnership.
00:20:16
And so one of the reasons why I think this product is so it's gonna be so good for the
00:20:20
industry is one is that there's obviously extreme passion behind it Mhmm.
00:20:24
For myself, and I got 2 other business partners.
00:20:27
That love and under understand and appreciate cold therapy.
00:20:31
The other thing is that the partnership in how we're building this product is from people that
00:20:36
are passionate about products like this, weatherproof, insulated, hearty, American
00:20:43
built, great warranties behind them, you know, just the quality of the product.
00:20:49
So when you can align both of those well, you know that you've got something out there that's
00:20:54
pretty special because, you know, one of the other things in this industry as you know well
00:20:57
too is, like, if you want a product, especially if you're gonna end up paying, you know, a
00:21:01
decent amount of money for this, you know, you're 6, 8 weeks out.
00:21:04
You might be 3 or 4 months out because they're waiting for another shipment coming in from
00:21:09
China
00:21:09
Yeah.
00:21:10
In
00:21:10
order for them to get the product to literally, when you when you sign up and you order your
00:21:15
product from us, we will have that to you within 10 days because we build it specifically
00:21:19
for you in the great state of Wyoming, and it shifts to you within a a couple days.
00:21:24
So you're getting an amazing American made product, which I'm absolutely over the moon
00:21:28
about as
00:21:29
I love that.
00:21:29
I I would pay more for stuff like that, right, for, like, that concept of it's made here in
00:21:33
this country by, you know, hardworking people that have, like, like, value Right?
00:21:38
Like, people with, like, important, with good morals.
00:21:40
Right?
00:21:41
Like, I personally do pay more for that kind of stuff.
00:21:43
And I think a lot of people are like that too, man.
00:21:44
Yeah.
00:21:45
Yeah.
00:21:45
Yeah.
00:21:45
Hey.
00:21:46
What's your routine?
00:21:46
You doing morning or night?
00:21:48
Great question.
00:21:49
To
00:21:49
be because I've actually I kinda do both depending on, like, really where I'm at in the
00:21:53
week.
00:21:53
For the most part, you know, Monday Friday.
00:21:55
I like to do it in the mornings because it's just a part of that routine for me to wake up
00:21:59
and get myself prepared for the day.
00:22:00
Yeah.
00:22:01
But, I love to do it in the evenings or the late afternoons on the weekend.
00:22:07
I'll also do my infrared therapy as well too.
00:22:09
Okay.
00:22:09
Typically around that.
00:22:10
You know, depending on how rush I'm in the morning, I my sequence is usually cold therapy
00:22:15
and then I go into my infrared sauna.
00:22:18
I'd I haven't been able to do the infrared sauna here for last couple months just because
00:22:23
of the routine and how it felt like it's kind of been it's been changed up because of, you
00:22:27
know, the amount of workload that I've got that I'm I'm under.
00:22:30
So the weekends are amazing for that because, you know, once again, with cold therapy too, it
00:22:34
it it's weird how the it can work in two different ways.
00:22:37
Right?
00:22:37
It can
00:22:37
if you do it
00:22:38
in the morning, it can wake you up.
00:22:39
Right?
00:22:40
And it does a great job of that.
00:22:41
But it also, if you do it in the evenings and right before bed, it actually puts you to sleep
00:22:46
as well too.
00:22:47
It helps you get to that ketosis, right, It just depends on what you want.
00:22:50
He could really think that's an interesting question that I've been studying more and
00:22:54
really trying to figure out, and I've gotten a lot of great feedback on, like, what you're
00:22:57
supposed to do is do you cold plunge before a workout, or do you do it after a workout?
00:23:03
And so I I actually would love to know your guys' thoughts.
00:23:06
Have you guys thought have you guys looked into, like, if better to do it before, better
00:23:09
to do it after.
00:23:10
And I've got some response on this, but I I would just love to know, like, what your
00:23:13
thoughts would be initially on that.
00:23:14
So I've been toying around And the reason why I ask you is at night is because I've actually
00:23:18
just changed things up, but just a little bit because I'm trying to understand my body a
00:23:22
little bit more.
00:23:23
What's cool about this whole process of, like, obviously cold plunging is you become so in
00:23:28
tune with your body.
00:23:29
That's what I love about, like, really understanding the ebbs and flows of, how my
00:23:34
body is working.
00:23:35
Yeah.
00:23:35
And so for the past, I would say about 4 months, 5 months, I've been doing a pre
00:23:40
workout.
00:23:41
So I'm actually my subthermal state I'll try to get as low as possible.
00:23:46
And then, obviously, I'll heat up, during my workout, and I saw a lot of value into that.
00:23:51
So, however, there's there's a few things that I've I feel like I'm a truly experienced cold
00:23:58
pleasure at this point.
00:24:00
One thing that I noticed is that I'm like, you know what?
00:24:03
I wanna gauge on where kind of my cortisol levels are at because one of the big things is
00:24:08
when you get early in the morning, If you weren't letting your body wake up, I was
00:24:12
getting in right when I wake up at about 5:5 o'clock in the morning between 5:5:15.
00:24:18
And so I would spike my cortisol levels, like, dramatically.
00:24:21
Right?
00:24:22
And so I'm like, I don't know.
00:24:24
Like, I wanna I wanna engage different ways.
00:24:26
One of the big things for me is maintaining digestion.
00:24:30
So, like, digestion is a re just a really big crucial thing.
00:24:33
And so I was like, oh, wonder if I try this a little bit later at night.
00:24:36
See, number 1, how I sleep, but also how that aids in digestion because my largest meal is
00:24:41
always dinner.
00:24:42
And so I started doing it at night just very recently, a little bit later at night.
00:24:48
I've I've seen my quality of sleep, take up a little bit more.
00:24:53
I've also seen digestion work really, really, really well the following day.
00:24:58
And so that was like that that's kinda like the key thing for me.
00:25:03
I know everybody's bodies a little bit differently, but I've adjusted it ever so
00:25:06
slightly.
00:25:07
Of not doing it.
00:25:08
Although I did do it this morning because I said this in our last podcast too.
00:25:12
We've been running the courts in Tampa Bay.
00:25:14
We're a big basketball guys, and, last night, we were, we were we were running the courts.
00:25:20
They were a little too much.
00:25:21
And, we hit we played our 5th game, and my body was like, god.
00:25:25
I don't I don't know about this.
00:25:27
So, but, honestly, I just took a shower.
00:25:29
And then this morning, I woke up, and I'm like, I definitely need to get this job right now.
00:25:34
Yeah.
00:25:34
So I did hop in the tub this morning, but it is one of those things where digestion just it
00:25:40
really is a a really big thing because as you as you said, you're getting you're pumping
00:25:45
you're pumping blood to the extremities.
00:25:47
It goes into the fight or flight.
00:25:48
Right?
00:25:48
So it goes into your main 2 organs, being your brain and your heart, But then when you get
00:25:54
out, obviously, blood flowing just in every single direction.
00:25:58
And I describe it like this.
00:26:01
Because it was honestly the best imagery that I could do for myself.
00:26:04
But when my babies were born, I got three girls when my babies were born, they were nice and
00:26:09
pink.
00:26:09
Their bodies were in fight or flight mode because they were they were they was a they
00:26:13
they had to produce oxygen for the first time.
00:26:15
Right?
00:26:16
Yeah.
00:26:16
And so they were breathing, and they were figuring the world out.
00:26:19
And when you self impose that on your body, I'm nice and pink when I'm coming out of that hot,
00:26:23
that cold plunge, And I that's how I feel like my body is, like, I'm rebirthing my body almost
00:26:29
every time I come out.
00:26:31
So that was just the that I give myself, oh, I give myself a rebirth.
00:26:34
It's almost every day.
00:26:36
And then obviously being a kingdom focused guy like yourself, I'm like, That's what I do to
00:26:41
protect this temple that god's given me.
00:26:44
And so but that that was the main thing is I'm shifting it towards a little bit later in the
00:26:49
day.
00:26:49
Sleep is one big thing, but digestion is another big thing because I I saved that big
00:26:54
meal for later in the day.
00:26:56
And it's just really give me a really great routine.
00:27:00
For that.
00:27:00
So, anyways, not to get off.
00:27:02
And I think the answer to that question is also, like, there's benefits on both ends.
00:27:06
Like, there is the benefit before, and there's the benefit after.
00:27:09
Yeah.
00:27:09
My my approach to, like, health, nutrition, working out everything is, like, being
00:27:14
adaptable and versatile.
00:27:16
Like, like, you wanna be able to do it some days before or some days after, some days in
00:27:20
the morning, some days at night.
00:27:21
You like, the same way we talked about, you wanna do strength workouts for a month and then
00:27:25
do more cardio workouts for a month and then do some sport for a month.
00:27:28
Like, your body then is more the that novelty stimulus is better for your body's adaptive
00:27:33
ability.
00:27:34
So, like,
00:27:35
yeah, that's that's my my take on that.
00:27:36
I don't have a plunge.
00:27:37
I I right now, I just don't have the space for it.
00:27:39
I live in a condo, but down the line, unless We're gonna get the my god.
00:27:44
I'm getting.
00:27:45
I'm chilly getting this.
00:27:46
I think, man, I were talking about this.
00:27:47
This conversation for so many people is because I actually, you know, prior to being able to
00:27:52
have the opportunity to build this this chili dip.
00:27:54
I mean, I really did look into the cold punch.
00:27:56
I I was like, okay.
00:27:57
You know, I love it so much.
00:27:59
I can try to I can justify spending that amount of money.
00:28:02
I don't want to.
00:28:03
But the other thing is is, like, I don't have a dedicated spot for it.
00:28:06
Yeah.
00:28:06
Like, I don't have a place to put this.
00:28:08
Like, I'm not gonna put it in where my where my infrared sauna is.
00:28:11
I have that downstairs in our in our storage room.
00:28:15
I like to be outside, especially in the spring and all summer, like, oh my gosh.
00:28:18
There's no better.
00:28:19
We got a great view of the mountains.
00:28:20
Like, it's just awesome and epic to be outside.
00:28:23
I have no place to do it because I also, in the wintertime, I bring it into the our garage
00:28:27
because it is so cold Yeah.
00:28:28
I need to have at least a little bit of a tempered temperature.
00:28:31
And so just to figure out, like, where I would put that the the the cold plunge because of it.
00:28:36
It's a bath.
00:28:37
Right?
00:28:38
I don't
00:28:38
know what to do.
00:28:39
So one of the things that we did on this is that we designed it for people, residents of
00:28:43
people that live apartments and our our and condos.
00:28:46
And so our dimensions are able to fit in a normal door.
00:28:50
So we're 33 a half inches wide.
00:28:52
A door is 34 inches wide.
00:28:54
Right?
00:28:54
And so we our product design, since we knew we had a limitation on how wide we could go, we
00:29:00
had to make sure our depth and our length of it and our height of was gonna be proportional for
00:29:05
an average 6 to £195 guy.
00:29:08
That's like that.
00:29:09
I went off of that type of a model.
00:29:11
And so just what you're talking about, like, we wanted accessibility for everybody.
00:29:15
Right?
00:29:15
So that you could take this and you could put this on your balcony.
00:29:18
Yeah.
00:29:18
Right?
00:29:19
You could use this at in your condo.
00:29:20
And then we also obviously have an extension so you put a hose to it so that you can put you
00:29:23
you can get rid of the water as well too.
00:29:25
Like, there's a lot of things that we did, and we engineer this specifically so that it would
00:29:29
it would be able to be used by an array of people.
00:29:32
That's also why it's movable.
00:29:34
Right?
00:29:34
We wanted to make sure, like, because there's no there's no cold punches out there right now.
00:29:38
Ice therapies right now that that you actually have wheels and you can actually move it.
00:29:42
You have to deflate it for some of them.
00:29:44
Or you have to do what I do with this ice barrel that I have.
00:29:46
You have to pick it up and carry it or roll it.
00:29:49
So one of the other reasons why we know once again why we did that.
00:29:52
But I do wanna go back to this.
00:29:54
You know, we we kinda highlighted, you know, why we take it, why we do this at night.
00:29:59
Mhmm.
00:29:59
And it's interesting.
00:30:00
So they've done enough studies on this that when you do cold therapy, when you do
00:30:05
submerging, especially when you do water, right, because water has a 29% is 29% more
00:30:10
thermogenic than, like, air.
00:30:11
K.
00:30:12
So it's like, that's why you can get hypothermia when you're in a seventy 2 degree
00:30:15
pool as opposed to you're not gonna get hypothermia when you're in 72 degrees of
00:30:18
weather Yes.
00:30:19
Outside.
00:30:19
Right?
00:30:19
Your body and so So if people were considering like, hey, listen.
00:30:23
I'm doing cold showers.
00:30:24
I don't know why I'd wanna do this because you're gonna get that much more of the results
00:30:27
coming from it.
00:30:28
Right?
00:30:28
So it's you'll you'll increase you'll increase the benefits of of what cold therapy does for
00:30:34
you if you do it in, you know, a plunge.
00:30:36
Yeah.
00:30:36
But the other thing is that is that, It also gets you the closest to your Delta ways when
00:30:42
you sleep.
00:30:42
And we know that Delta ways when you sleep is that deep sleep.
00:30:45
That's when your body rejuvenates, and that's when it repairs self.
00:30:48
Mhmm.
00:30:48
So that's another reason why when you do it right before bed, it actually puts your body
00:30:52
into the closest that it would ever get to a delta wave, you know, pre stealth away state.
00:30:58
Mhmm.
00:30:58
And it allows you once you do go to sleep to get back into that actually faster and easier.
00:31:03
So just another point that I thought that was fascinating about what the body's able to do
00:31:07
when you put it under the right conditions.
00:31:09
In the past, I had done, like, those those whole body cryochambers where you step in there
00:31:13
and basically walking into, like, a meat fridge, dude.
00:31:16
But, like, this the benefits of the being in the water, what you're saying is 30% more
00:31:21
effective than than the air.
00:31:22
Yeah.
00:31:23
This is So let me tell you a quick story, like, because just maybe putting in a reality of
00:31:27
this.
00:31:27
Right?
00:31:27
So you guys all know him, Michael Phelps.
00:31:29
Mhmm.
00:31:29
You know, one of probably the the greatest Olympic athlete ever.
00:31:33
Mhmm.
00:31:33
So the year that they actually had it over in Beijing, he started swimming over there in one
00:31:38
of the pools.
00:31:39
His chloric intake, right, which is the energy that you'd burn normally, right, his chloric
00:31:44
intake and his calorie burn went from 8000.
00:31:47
It's, like, 757 to 8000 all the way to 10000, 10000 calories he was burning a day.
00:31:54
He didn't change up his routine.
00:31:56
He didn't change up anything that else he was doing.
00:31:58
You know what the difference was?
00:31:59
Pool was colder.
00:32:01
The pool
00:32:01
is 4 degrees colder.
00:32:03
Jeez.
00:32:03
4 degrees.
00:32:04
That's like yeah.
00:32:04
4 degrees colder.
00:32:05
That's the only thing.
00:32:06
So that just goes to show you that that's what happens when you get into cold water is what it
00:32:12
does for the, for your calorie burn.
00:32:14
Right?
00:32:15
So you think about, like, well, do I wanna go do a hit workout, or should I go do a cold
00:32:19
plunge?
00:32:19
Right?
00:32:20
Well, you're going to burn more calories more like more than likely.
00:32:24
They're just, like, doing 3 to 6 minutes of cold therapy than you are when you go to do a a
00:32:29
hit Yeah.
00:32:30
It's it's absolutely phenomenal.
00:32:32
So, once again, another reason why I like it.
00:32:39
As always, this episode is brought to you by nutritious, convenient, optimized, superfood

00:33:00
Alfie, tell everyone where they
00:33:02

00:33:03
Yep.
00:33:03
Head on over to newdup.com to experience these benefits for yourself and live beyond limits
00:33:08
today.
00:33:11
There's an important thing in that too is the pressure of the water because the pressure
00:33:16
actually were versus air.
00:33:19
That they were talking about this on the human upgrade.
00:33:23
That the pressure of the water, that's actually what the coldness and the pressure is actually
00:33:29
what creates the, the brown fat.
00:33:30
The sort of, like, changing of that visceral fat is that the pressure that's allocated to
00:33:35
that around the body where it's, like, almost like this sculpt thing piece, whereas air is
00:33:40
like this texture.
00:33:41
Like, yeah, it's gonna get underneath your skin, but water, there's a pressure to it.
00:33:46
So that it, like, kind of, changes things just below the epidermis and you're creating that
00:33:51
that brown layer of fat.
00:33:52
Yeah.
00:33:53
That's really cool.
00:33:54
The one thing that I want to tap into because I get a lot of these questions because I, like, I
00:33:59
post some stuff on, obviously, cool plunging.
00:34:03
But there's, you know, and I Cool plunging.
00:34:05
I I believe it.
00:34:06
It's turning into a community.
00:34:07
Probably got a community of of people out in Wyoming already, but there's so many people.
00:34:14
And now for me, I'm like, dude, it's so basic, but the people that always ask me, how do I get
00:34:19
into this?
00:34:20
Like, how do I get into this?
00:34:21
And you you always had mentioned, like, I started with cold showers.
00:34:24
Right?
00:34:25
That's how I worked up.
00:34:26
But there's so many people that are like, I I don't know if I could do it.
00:34:31
I just don't or they they only get past a day, you know, because as soon as the cold water
00:34:37
hits their shoulders, walk us through.
00:34:39
What is what is the recommendations you're gonna give?
00:34:41
I I I told a guy that just reached out to me that I would do an episode on this.
00:34:45
This is the episode.
00:34:46
So walk us through that kind of the first time or feel on selling them in in progression to,
00:34:47
obviously, the chili
00:34:54
Well, I think one of his you gotta know, like, why is it even attractive to you?
00:34:57
Why is it why are you even considering doing it?
00:34:59
It's like any kind of goal in your life like, if you're willing to go through something hard,
00:35:03
you gotta know why you're gonna go through something hard.
00:35:05
Right?
00:35:06
And so whether it's a physical ailment, like, which what I was experiencing, right, with some
00:35:09
neuropathy and going, man, I just gotta find a solution to this.
00:35:13
Or maybe you're doing 75 hard and then it's part of that challenge.
00:35:16
Right?
00:35:16
You know, if you look at the hard year that Andy talks about, you do a 5 minute shower
00:35:20
every single day.
00:35:21
Right?
00:35:22
And so, you know, if you're looking for I would say if you're looking for more mental
00:35:26
fortitude, doing co therapy is going to be one of the greatest things that you can do for
00:35:31
yourself when it comes to mental fortitude on a daily basis.
00:35:34
If you're looking for health benefits, right, you know, once again, there's there's there's
00:35:38
amazing studies that have been out there.
00:35:40
There was a a group that they did in Germany.
00:35:43
Of gentlemen that were average middle aged guys, so they're about fifty to sixty years
00:35:47
old.
00:35:48
All of them were obese and overweight.
00:35:50
None of them were active in exercise.
00:35:52
Mhmm.
00:35:52
They all had health issues.
00:35:54
In fact, each and every one of them had, were type 2 diabetic.
00:35:58
Right?
00:35:59
They for 10 days, they put him in a room and it was, the temperature, they dropped the
00:36:04
temperature significantly.
00:36:06
So it was just uncomfortable, and then they were in cold for 10 days, right?
00:36:08
They still had all their snacks.
00:36:10
They were not allowed to exercise if they wanted to to try to heat the body up.
00:36:13
So they had to continue to keep living in that.
00:36:15
Shorts and a t shirt.
00:36:17
10 days later, they were no longer type 2
00:36:20
diabetic.
00:36:20
Hoof.
00:36:22
Wow.
00:36:22
Because of what the body was doing for the insulin reaction because we talk about brown
00:36:26
fat.
00:36:27
Right?
00:36:27
So when it comes to, like, right now in your life, if there's something in ailment that's
00:36:32
going on that you know that would be official if you went into cold therapy.
00:36:37
You know that if you started to do this, like, your body's gonna react in a way that's gonna
00:36:40
actually help you, so you don't have to be on medication.
00:36:42
So you don't have to continue to go to the doctor.
00:36:44
Right?
00:36:45
That you don't have to do to get prescribed something that's gonna have another side effect
00:36:48
that now you're gonna have to get something to get that side effect gone.
00:36:51
Right?
00:36:52
That's the thing that I would say is that you wanna be looking at.
00:36:55
And are you willing to go through some discomfort in order to help your body.
00:37:01
Help your body heal.
00:37:02
Have more longevity in your life.
00:37:04
Mhmm.
00:37:04
Right?
00:37:05
Listen to podcast this morning's randomly enough.
00:37:05
Steven Allen Smith you know, he's a commentator, on ESPN and stuff.
00:37:12
And he literally was talking about him and Steve Harvey having a conversation about his
00:37:17
health and his wellness.
00:37:18
And he's like, dude, I don't wanna get into this cold.
00:37:20
I don't wanna go into the cold plunge.
00:37:21
I don't wanna go to the car.
00:37:22
I wanna do this.
00:37:22
I wanna do this.
00:37:22
He goes, you gotta do it because right now, your body's shutting down.
00:37:26
And if you do not do something like this, you're gonna go down a road and you're not
00:37:30
gonna be happy with what happens here in the next 5 years.
00:37:34
Man.
00:37:34
It
00:37:34
was that important for him to do something.
00:37:36
And he's realized since then, he's like, man, my mental fortitude is better.
00:37:40
I'm able to do hard things have harder conversations on a daily basis.
00:37:43
And guess what?
00:37:44
I have more energy.
00:37:45
I'm more excited about life.
00:37:47
I have a better add too towards things just because that's also another side effect of
00:37:51
going into cold therapy on a daily basis is the hormones that'll get released.
00:37:55
Yeah.
00:37:55
And so I would just say you have to look at the benefits of what this is potentially gonna do
00:37:59
in your life.
00:37:59
And if they outweigh the discomfort, then you gotta push yourself to do it.
00:38:03
It really is that.
00:38:04
Like, it's as simple as that.
00:38:06
And then it's also acknowledging that it's it's hard as shit.
00:38:09
Like, I I'm not you're not gonna like it.
00:38:11
Trust me.
00:38:12
Like, it's not it's not something that but you're literally intentionally stepping into
00:38:17
that layer of discomfort that is gonna allow you to just push through a lot of things.
00:38:21
Well,
00:38:21
it's like which pain would you rather have?
00:38:23
Would you rather have the 3, 4 minute pain of ice cold water on your
00:38:25
body or the the pain of growing older with disease and being
00:38:25
sick and not seeing your kids grow up.
00:38:33
Right?
00:38:33
Like, which pain is worse for you, man.
00:38:35
And that's that you nailed it, bro, with, like, the purpose and, like, knowing why you're
00:38:39
jumping in that cold water.
00:38:40
Right?
00:38:41
Yeah.
00:38:41
Yeah.
00:38:41
And this is one of the companies.
00:38:43
You talked about it earlier.
00:38:44
It's like, just that community you have people, like, you know, share your experiences have
00:38:48
some and there's probably somebody else in your life that you know that's either doing it or
00:38:52
should do it.
00:38:53
So invite them in on the journey, right, that there's something wonderful about that.
00:38:57
Anytime that I've ever done 75 hard, I've done it three times.
00:39:00
I I don't like to do it.
00:39:01
I don't wanna do it alone.
00:39:02
I wanna be miserable.
00:39:04
You know?
00:39:05
And I also want that confidence from somebody else too that they're going through it, and
00:39:08
then I can also be a confident for them as
00:39:10
well too.
00:39:11
And so I would say that if you wanna really get into this, if you think this is gonna be
00:39:14
beneficial for you, I guarantee either somebody else either doing it or needs to do it.
00:39:18
And so invite him in on the journey, and I think it's gonna be so much more enjoyable to
00:39:21
do And
00:39:22
that's kinda like the the premise behind this, this program we're launching called the
00:39:26
optimizers program for optimizing your human potential.
00:39:29
It's gonna be based community.
00:39:31
Like, you're you're putting in the work.
00:39:32
You're putting in the sweat equity with a team or with people that you can rely on to have
00:39:36
accountability and like, dude, like, this sucks.
00:39:40
Like, yeah, I know this does suck.
00:39:41
This isn't easy, but here we go.
00:39:42
Like, let's, you know, like head down and and push yourself.
00:39:45
Right?
00:39:45
And it's like, think about the destination.
00:39:47
Do do I wanna get to the end and be like, yeah, I did it.
00:39:51
I did it.
00:39:51
There's no one there to celebrate with you.
00:39:53
That too.
00:39:53
Yeah.
00:39:54
Yeah.
00:39:54
Yeah.
00:39:54
Like, you wanna you wanna be able to, like, be I we did it.
00:39:57
We did it together.
00:39:58
Like, we did this.
00:39:59
We were
00:39:59
a team.
00:40:00
I held you accountable.
00:40:01
You held me accountable.
00:40:02
We we elevated each other.
00:40:04
It's weird.
00:40:04
5 years old.
00:40:05
Yeah.
00:40:05
5 years old.
00:40:07
It goes back to rising tides lifts all boats.
00:40:09
Right?
00:40:10
Yeah.
00:40:10
It's, I think, that's a a crucial piece.
00:40:12
So as we wrap it up, what are what are the future plans?
00:40:17
I know that, like, when is the launch?
00:40:19
Because this is gonna be early on.
00:40:20
It actually might be when podcast launch.
00:40:23
1 is the launch, and then it kinda what are the plans to to get this thing, get it rolling with
00:40:27
the chili did.
00:40:28
Yeah.
00:40:28
So we'll be launching, the 1st part of next year.
00:40:31
So 2024.
00:40:32
So Okay.
00:40:33
We're hoping that we should have some products ready to ship by the end of January.
00:40:38
And so, yeah, we're absolutely ecstatic about that.
00:40:42
Really for us is, the mentality that I look at is I I wanna I'm so it's almost like we're
00:40:47
gonna do guerrilla marketing in that aspect in the sense is that we wanna be boots on the
00:40:50
ground.
00:40:51
This is obviously a deep passion for us.
00:40:53
We, we wanna be out there where our people are at.
00:40:56
Right?
00:40:57
So the people that We know that are gonna benefit from that, that really looking for
00:41:00
these these types of solutions that we're offering through the chili dip.
00:41:03
And so we're gonna be at a ton of events.
00:41:05
Obviously, we wanna partner with the right people as well too that passion for this as
00:41:09
well.
00:41:09
So, the partnerships and the affiliates and the ambassadors that we have.
00:41:13
Cool.
00:41:13
Yeah.
00:41:13
That's really the way that we're gonna do this.
00:41:16
At the very beginning.
00:41:17
And then as it continues to grow, then obviously, we'll continue to grow in our market
00:41:20
and our social media presence and such.
00:41:22
But, you know, really what we're trying to do is is meet people where they're at and given
00:41:27
the confidence that one that you are capable of doing.
00:41:30
That's right.
00:41:30
You're capable of taking on hard challenges such as getting into cold therapy.
00:41:34
Mhmm.
00:41:34
But also we wanna do is educate them in the sense of, like, these are the benefits.
00:41:38
So you might not even know this.
00:41:39
Mhmm.
00:41:40
But if you did do this, this is what it potentially could do for your life.
00:41:43
And so I think that's the mentality that we have.
00:41:45
And and once again, you know, it's just like you guys.
00:41:47
What you guys are doing, you're just so passionate about it.
00:41:50
So it's easy to get out of bed and go to work.
00:41:52
Right?
00:41:53
It's easy to go out of bed and you do the things, the hard things, the challenging
00:41:56
things, because you know that, like, when you're able to connect with that person that
00:41:59
needs it really it changes a life.
00:42:01
Right?
00:42:02
And and that's what not only the chili dip is, but a lot of the things that we do in our
00:42:05
organizations, it's all about impacting people's lives.
00:42:08
And so we just I'm so I'm so fortunate.
00:42:11
I just feel so blessed to be able to add this to, the umbrella of the things that we do,
00:42:16
because it is most certainly a deep passion for myself.
00:42:20
Real quick for the the listeners.
00:42:21
Tell them where they can learn about this website, Instagram, whatever, and then I have a
00:42:25
final question for
00:42:26
So a couple of things.

So, yeah,
00:42:59
we're gonna take advantage of that
00:43:00

00:43:01
That's awesome.
00:43:02
We talk on the show all the time about, like, being well rounded in your in your health, and
00:43:05
that's how you optimize your life.
00:43:07
Right?
00:43:07
So, the the the name full fueled, we have these 6 pillars.
00:43:11
It's fuel, movement, sleep, mind, work slash purpose, and then spirit.
00:43:16
Right?
00:43:17
And sounds like, I mean, cold plunge isn't a pillar, but it sounds like it kind of affects
00:43:21
every single one of them.
00:43:23
Tell us, man, what does it mean to you to live full fueled?
00:43:25
Brother, I appreciate that, man.
00:43:27
You know, to me, and I love what you guys are doing because it does so much resonate with me.
00:43:31
I think in order to be full fueled, one is that it allows you to be three-dimensional in your
00:43:36
life.
00:43:37
Right?
00:43:37
How many people who know that are just one dimensional, and this is why the other areas in
00:43:40
their lives are complete train wreck.
00:43:42
So I think this op this idea being full fueled and three-dimensional in your life is should be
00:43:46
motivating to everybody to be able to go out there and look at what are the most important
00:43:51
things in my life.
00:43:52
And how do I go and tack them fully?
00:43:55
One of the other things that I I try to live by is is just this idea of empty the tank every
00:44:00
day in every way.
00:44:01
And so I'm gonna fill it up and I do that by, you know, biohacking and doing the things that
00:44:06
you guys are providing and the things that are a passion for us.
00:44:08
To because I know, like, I'm gonna empty that sucker throughout the day because I'm pouring
00:44:13
that out into the areas of my life that are important.
00:44:15
So whether it's my family, whether it's business or whether it's the activities that
00:44:18
I'm doing to challenge myself.
00:44:20
And so I think just that idea of, like, you know, fully fueled You got, like, that's
00:44:25
awesome.
00:44:25
Why do you why are you fully fueled?
00:44:26
Well, you're full fueled so you can go empty that sucker out.
00:44:29
Yeah.
00:44:29
Yeah.
00:44:29
Nice.
00:44:30
Live by that.
00:44:30
That's a pretty amazing, amazing thing in
00:44:33
That is awesome.
00:44:33
That
00:44:34
was great.
00:44:34
That was a great great answer.
00:44:36
Yeah.
00:44:36
Well, that's a wrap.
00:44:37

00:44:41

00:44:41
