Your body is medicine, man.
00:00:01
Like, our body produces all the things it needs for the most part.
00:00:04
Obviously, the nutrition is how we get the the, essential vitamins and amino acids and all
00:00:09
that.
00:00:09
But, like, we have, you know, the all the the natural killer cells and the the anti
00:00:14
inflammatory agents within us.
00:00:16
We just have to foster that.

00:01:00

00:01:01
me put Doctor.
00:01:02
Alessi.
00:01:02
I don't know why.
00:01:03
It's like, was it long enough?
00:01:04
So I have my first name.
00:01:06
It doesn't matter anymore.
00:01:10
What's up, buddy?
00:01:11
We're gonna be doing these lives every other week.
00:01:14
One of the big things that we were talking about in terms of overall purpose and living
00:01:18
full field lives, of understanding meaning and purpose in your life.
00:01:23
I was just having a conversation with my wife about this the other day, our ability to dream,
00:01:28
and kind of defining that purpose and how we need to dream a dream often.
00:01:33
But I'm actually reading, and do I sound alright?
00:01:37
Is my audio good?
00:01:38
Sound really good, man.
00:01:41
Alright.
00:01:41
Good stuff.
00:01:43
I'm actually reading, some, scripture in my devotional.
00:01:48
In terms of that, in terms of what defining our purpose or finding true purpose in life.
00:01:54
And I think that I was just, explaining it to you where we look at things like where we want
00:02:01
things that are easy.
00:02:03
And so we're seeing a level of abundance in our life.
00:02:06
But then when things aren't is actually when we actually are truly finding our purpose.
00:02:11
We're trying to we're finding actually where we need to build the foundation or where that
00:02:16
level of motivation comes from.
00:02:18
It's not really in the seasons of abundance like we're, we can find it in that too.
00:02:24
I'm not saying you can't find it in that, but it usually is in seasons of trials, something a
00:02:29
little bit more uncomfortable where you're identifying, man, that true purpose.
00:02:34
Right?
00:02:34
That's gonna that's gonna layer you up and you're gonna evolve.
00:02:38
So I've been I know you've been in the book of Genesis and we're talking about that in terms
00:02:43
of, like, the beginning.
00:02:44
Right?
00:02:44
The beginning of you.
00:02:45
Genesis is the culmination of the creation.
00:02:50
Right?
00:02:50
But it then it's also the creation of you and how you're interpreting it through yourself.
00:02:55
So I've been in Genesis, 1.
00:02:58
I was reading Genesis 126 through 31 and Genesis 2:8 and Genesis 2:15 today, and I can
00:03:04
read some of that.
00:03:05
But, it's really identifying, you know, culminating just this identification of your
00:03:11
true purpose, your true meaning in life.
00:03:13
Right?
00:03:13
Are we just going day to day and navigating things, moment to moment?
00:03:20
Or are we do we have an established purpose?
00:03:23
Do we have an identity?
00:03:25
And the other thing that I think about this is also your identity can change too.
00:03:31
Right?
00:03:32
You are you are not the same person you were 10 years ago.
00:03:35
That's, like, what I appreciate about
00:03:37
I hope so.
00:03:38
Yeah.
00:03:38
The the evolvement of, like, your knowledge base and who you are as an individual is that
00:03:46
you are constantly transforming.
00:03:47
So your identity actually does change.
00:03:49
Like, I don't wear things that I did probably 10 years ago.
00:03:53
Right?
00:03:54
Yeah.
00:03:54
I wear different things.
00:03:55
I have different look.
00:03:56
I have different gene structures.
00:03:58
And so it's the identity and the purpose of of that.
00:04:03
But then also, you know, from, just a faith principle, like, where where is your foundation
00:04:08
held?
00:04:09
Right?
00:04:09
And I think that's that's really important thing to think about.
00:04:12
But what are your thoughts on that?
00:04:14
I mean, I think going back to what you said at the beginning, like, your purpose should be so
00:04:19
deeply rooted in you that, yeah, it doesn't fluctuate just when you're having a good month
00:04:24
of finance or where you're having a good month in your marriage.
00:04:27
It shouldn't be like, oh, like my purpose is here.
00:04:29
It's like, no, you you have a sole purpose.
00:04:32
Right?
00:04:32
There's this term in the Japanese culture, and I was actually just looking this up because
00:04:37
it's really cool.
00:04:38
It's called Ikigai, and it's a Japanese term that refers to a reason for living or something
00:04:43
that gives a person a sense of purpose.
00:04:46
Right.
00:04:47
And so there's this image that I'll see if it can show, but it's basically, you know, like a
00:04:53
Venn diagram, which is like the 3 rings, and I can even attach it to this episode, but it's 4
00:04:58
rings.
00:04:59
The 4 rings are what you love, what the world needs, what you can be paid for, and what you
00:05:06
are good at.
00:05:07
And where those 4 culminate in the middle is ikigai or your purpose.
00:05:11
Right?
00:05:12
And so, you know, you can break it down even deeper is like, you know, the combination of of
00:05:17
what you love and what you're good at.
00:05:18
That's your passion.
00:05:20
The combination of what you love and what the world needs, that's your mission.
00:05:24
The combination of what the world needs and what you can be paid for is your vocation.
00:05:29
And then the combination of what you can be paid for and what you're good at is your
00:05:33
profession.
00:05:34
Right?
00:05:34
And now where those four things then further culminate into the middle is your purpose.
00:05:39
Right?
00:05:40
So it's a really cool little chart.
00:05:41
Let me see if it even kinda pulls up here, but
00:05:47
Oh, yeah.
00:05:47
It's pretty cool, man.
00:05:48
Yeah.
00:05:49
And so, you know, I I think that's helpful for people if they're, like, kinda lost or, you
00:05:53
know, they're like, well, really, what is my purpose?
00:05:55
I'm good at this, and I like to do that.
00:05:57
And, you know, obviously, the word people needs to be served, but, like, what?
00:06:01
Where does that all come together?
00:06:03
So I think it's it's a really, like, tangible way that people can figure that out.
00:06:08
It's funny.
00:06:08
Yeah.
00:06:09
You're talking about the book of Genesis.
00:06:10
I'm reading through kind of like a daily like, it's almost like a a daily insight that that
00:06:16
takes you through this book, but it got into, like, the lineages and, you know, essentially,
00:06:21
these dudes are, like, at the very beginning of time, their their whole purpose was to just,
00:06:25
like, create more human beings.
00:06:27
You know?
00:06:27
Like, I'm, like, reading through it.
00:06:28
It's like everyone's sleeping with everyone, and this guy's sleeping with this guy's wife,
00:06:31
and it's his dad.
00:06:32
It's it's kinda weird.
00:06:33
And you're like, what's going on here?
00:06:35
But that was their purpose was, like, you know, spread spread the the nation or grow the
00:06:40
nation.
00:06:42
Spread
00:06:42
the seed, man.
00:06:43
Spread the seeds, man.
00:06:44
Yeah.
00:06:45
That is something, I mean, that I was even talking to you about that was really
00:06:50
interesting.
00:06:51
I was reading something.
00:06:53
It it was not too long ago.
00:06:54
I think it was a few months ago.
00:06:56
But it was this idea of, you know, the polygamous nature that that, like, we foresee
00:07:02
the world, like, as it currently is.
00:07:05
But, like, that's been a struggle since the even the old testament.
00:07:08
Right?
00:07:08
So we were talking about some, like, biblical figures that even struggled with this, like,
00:07:13
the the polygamist nature of, like, the human being of, like, being a man.
00:07:17
Right?
00:07:18
And so those are some of the things that naturally, David, Solomon, all these guys.
00:07:24
Right?
00:07:25
Yeah.
00:07:26
They they like, that's ultimately how the reproduction and how, like, this world and the
00:07:31
population grew.
00:07:34
But at the same time, it's like that was a struggle, and it's a struggle for every man.
00:07:38
I don't care, Yeah.
00:07:41
Who who you are.
00:07:42
Like, if you are a man, that's attracted to a woman, that's naturally just gonna be an
00:07:48
instinctual struggle, as a man and lust.
00:07:52
But, one thing that I read today that I thought was really good is god created us for his
00:07:57
glory, but he also planted a garden and put Adam in it to cultivate and maintain it.
00:08:04
Additionally, Adam and Eve were subdued to rule over the earth.
00:08:09
Cultivate, this is what I love.
00:08:11
And, if you're, listening to this podcast, it's probably something you might even wanna write
00:08:15
down.
00:08:15
But cultivate means to foster, growth, and then to improve.
00:08:21
To maintain means to preserve from failure or decline.
00:08:26
Right?
00:08:27
To subdue means to exercise control and discipline, and rule over means to administer,
00:08:33
take responsibility for, and make decisions.
00:08:37
One of the things that was pronounced there was cultivating.
00:08:40
Cultivating means to foster growth and to improve.
00:08:44
That's one thing in full fuel that we wanna take the objective of, like, how are you
00:08:50
cultivating, meaning fostering growth, not only in your mindset and to improve, but in your
00:08:56
body.
00:08:57
Right?
00:08:57
We believe in this idea of move your body, move your mind.
00:09:01
And how are you fostering that as, like, a temple, like treating your body as a temple?
00:09:08
And so that really hit me in terms of, yeah, my identity is in, like, growth.
00:09:14
Like, I wanna grow.
00:09:17
But I part of that process is to look good.
00:09:21
You know what I mean?
00:09:22
Like, to foster and cultivate and improve, my body because god's given me this temple, and
00:09:28
this is, like, the only temple he's gonna give me.
00:09:31
And how the world has, like, kinda misdirected and miskewed that as, like, oh, we don't need
00:09:37
to protect and preserve that.
00:09:39
And I just think that hit home for me in terms of, like, the genesis of me is, man, I gotta
00:09:45
protect and preserve.
00:09:45
I also gotta maintain, and then I gotta subdue.
00:09:49
I gotta control discipline.
00:09:51
I gotta exercise control.
00:09:53
Yeah.
00:09:54
And I think, you know, deeper than the looks aspect.
00:09:56
And, honestly, man, I think if someone says, oh, I don't really care how I look, I think
00:10:00
they're they're lying to themselves.
00:10:02
You know?
00:10:03
Like, everyone does.
00:10:04
And doesn't mean you have to be vain or you have to be, you know, so focused on on
00:10:09
perfection, but, yeah, everyone does care a little a bit about their image.
00:10:14
Right?
00:10:14
It's important because how you portray yourself is is, you know, everything.
00:10:18
How you come into a room, how you're looking, if you're sloppy.
00:10:21
We talked about this a lot in the past, but, then it's more than that.
00:10:25
Like, for you and I, it's like, if I'm fit and healthy into my older age, then when my kids
00:10:33
have kids, I can play with my grandkids and be running.
00:10:36
How about that dude we saw at the gym yesterday who was 80?
00:10:39
Looked like he was 55 or something.
00:10:41
And this guy's like, I just keep doing it.
00:10:42
I've been doing the same thing forever.
00:10:44
I'm like, that's how you do it, man.
00:10:46
It's like, just don't stop.
00:10:47
You know?
00:10:48
But he, like, pulled up his shirt and dude had, like like, moderately visible abs at, like,
00:10:52
almost 80 years old.
00:10:53
I was like, woah.
00:10:54
Good for you, bro.
00:10:56
Then so it's like, you know, obviously, like, the image is one thing and not getting wrapped
00:11:01
up in that as, like, who you are.
00:11:02
Your image is not your identity, but, like, what you do with that.
00:11:05
Right?
00:11:05
Like, how can you use that as, like, a as, like, a driving force.
00:11:10
Right?
00:11:10
You you look good.
00:11:11
You're gonna feel better.
00:11:12
You're gonna have more confidence.
00:11:13
You're gonna probably want to pursue things a little bit harder.
00:11:16
It's just gonna leverage you to be a little bit more successful versus you know, I mean, look
00:11:21
at a lot of successful people tend to be in shape, and that's because they have discipline.
00:11:25
They have routine.
00:11:26
They they just have that it factor, right, of, like, hey.
00:11:30
This is what I do.
00:11:31
This is how I I operate in all areas.
00:11:34
It's all dialed in.
00:11:36
Yeah.
00:11:36
I I think there's a close line in terms of, like, separation.
00:11:40
I do believe actually how you hold yourself.
00:11:42
Your body is an image of identity.
00:11:45
Right?
00:11:45
Regardless because your identity is something that you don't have to say a word.
00:11:49
I'm gonna look at you, and then I'm gonna profile you based off of that.
00:11:54
Right?
00:11:54
And so, like, that is an identity.
00:11:57
Whether we realize it or not.
00:11:58
Right?
00:11:58
It's an identity.
00:11:59
I don't have to say anything, but I am gonna profile you, and everyone does it.
00:12:04
The re the reality is is, like, if I look at somebody, I'm gonna get a good gauge on terms
00:12:10
of the level of discipline that that individual has, right, in one area or another.
00:12:15
And so there's this idea, and I I go on because there was another paragraph that hit home to me
00:12:21
is whatever we do should be to God's glory.
00:12:24
The term glorify means to give an accurate representation while recognizing the supreme
00:12:32
excellence that is actually true.
00:12:35
Right?
00:12:36
And that doesn't mean I am saying anything.
00:12:39
That's a representation of who I am.
00:12:42
And so how am I holding myself to that standard while is it a level of supreme excellence?
00:12:49
And that's the way I'd like, I look at it.
00:12:52
It's not yet, like, am I posting stuff with my shirt off, working out, doing these things?
00:12:58
But these are part of the reasons of why we also have these, like, podcast is to show the
00:13:04
purpose of that.
00:13:05
That's just not that is part of my identity, but it's not part of my purpose.
00:13:10
And so there I think there's a separation between those because you we actually do need
00:13:15
to hold ourselves to a level of identity where somebody's able to perceive, hey.
00:13:19
I'm looking at doctor Alessi.
00:13:21
He is, he is a man of authority that I'm that I'm giving him control over my health, when you
00:13:28
walked into the office.
00:13:30
If you were 70, £80 overweight and you looked disheveled and you were smoking a cigarette and
00:13:37
then you came in and you smelled like smoke, and then I'm gonna be I'm gonna be asking you
00:13:44
for health advice.
00:13:45
Like, there are actually a lot of doctors out there that are, like, smoke, that have
00:13:51
extremely high stress jobs, that don't take care of themselves.
00:13:55
And you're the yet we, like, we go, I'm gonna take medical advice from you.
00:14:00
And I think that's that that's really what that could be says and that's what it comes down to
00:14:04
is, like, I actually want to be an accurate representation while recognizing the supreme
00:14:11
excellence that is actually true.
00:14:13
Right?
00:14:14
And so it then it gives authority.
00:14:15
Like, I'm I like, I wanna go to somebody that has that level of authority that says, okay.
00:14:20
Yeah.
00:14:20
I can take I can take health advice from him.
00:14:23
And the authority thing comes down to trust.
00:14:25
Right?
00:14:25
Like, you're in the gym working out and you have your shirt off, whatever, or you're just
00:14:30
looking, you know, looking good.
00:14:32
Someone comes up to you, man.
00:14:33
What do you do?
00:14:34
They start asking questions.
00:14:34
Hey.
00:14:35
We actually coach guys on how to get fit.
00:14:36
We we we have this program, blah blah blah.
00:14:39
They're like, okay.
00:14:39
Obviously, this guy knows what he's talking about.
00:14:41
Right?
00:14:42
You know, it's like the same reason.
00:14:43
Like, if you went to a a financial adviser and they're dressed sharply and they've got a nice
00:14:48
suit on and you're like, okay.
00:14:49
This guy's obviously well put together.
00:14:50
He must, you know, he must have a good sense of how this thing works.
00:14:55
And, you know, somebody it's weird, man, because I do know a lot of doctors in more of,
00:14:59
like, the medical realm, like some orthopedists and stuff, and they're just such heavy
00:15:02
drinkers.
00:15:03
These guys drink so much.
00:15:04
I'm like like, what kind of it's just a skewed, like, reality of, like, what health is, I
00:15:10
think.
00:15:11
And that is a whole there's a whole different conversation, obviously, of what health care
00:15:15
really looks like.
00:15:16
But, you know, your body is medicine, man.
00:15:19
Like, our body produces all the things it needs for the most part.
00:15:22
Obviously, the nutrition is how we get the the, essential vitamins and amino acids and all
00:15:27
that.
00:15:27
But, like, we have, you know, the all the the natural killer cells and the the anti
00:15:32
inflammatory agents within us.
00:15:34
We just have to foster that.
00:15:35
But, like, our bodies are meant to heal themselves.
00:15:37
They're meant to to do all the work if we do if we take care of them.
00:15:41
You know what I mean?
00:15:42
And is when when illness sets in is obviously when, you know, we're not doing that.
00:15:46
But, you know, you know, medicine is it's a made up thing realistically, like all medicine
00:15:51
or, like, pharmaceutical medicines come from the idea of something that was found in nature.
00:15:56
Right?
00:15:56
It's not like they just like like, Oh, let's think of this.
00:15:58
It's like, no, someone in the past used a natural substance to get said result.
00:16:04
Now how do we chemically, like, mimic that?
00:16:06
Make it for real cheap, sell it for real expensive, right?
00:16:09
It's like everything that you can get medical right medicine wise can also be found on a
00:16:14
natural on a natural state as well.
00:16:17
It's that's, you know, my thought on that.
00:16:19
Yeah.
00:16:19
And we had a previous podcast on that in terms of, like, personalized medicine and actually
00:16:25
what personalized medicine look like.
00:16:27
That was our previous podcast.
00:16:28
So if you want to check that out.

00:16:45
We got you and we get you dialed in.
00:16:48

00:16:59
our programs, reach out to us, and we'll be happy to hop on a call with you.
00:17:03
So this idea, though, I like the of coming back to that, though, of what you're talking about
00:17:09
specifically about medicine is that it is like if we don't do our due diligence and accurate
00:17:15
representation while recognizing the supreme excellence.
00:17:18
I like the idea of supreme excellence because, like, aren't we trying to get better every day?
00:17:23
Like, if we are literally not trying to get better every day in terms of some level of
00:17:28
growth, you know, I always go back to the, like, analogy of what would my 85 year old self
00:17:32
thank me that I did today?
00:17:35
And, yeah, of course, like, you know, so many times, networking events are, associated around
00:17:42
drinking and, hey, come to a happy hour, these things.
00:17:46
It's not health focused or, like, conscious while happy, bro.
00:17:50
It's not yeah.
00:17:51
It's not happy.
00:17:51
Happy.
00:17:53
The, yeah.
00:17:54
They're they're trying to get happy through the spirits.
00:17:56
Right?
00:17:57
They're the demonic spirits, we call them.
00:18:00
But supreme excellence and then that level of supreme excellence is how I'm actually giving
00:18:06
glory to God.
00:18:08
And so I I truly believe that we just lose focus so much on what our genesis is.
00:18:17
Like, we you're in the book of Genesis reading, like, the what is our genesis of life?
00:18:21
We have our now weight loss program at Alessi Functional Health, and it's the Genesis
00:18:26
protocol.
00:18:27
And so, like, that's the beginning of you.
00:18:29
And I think that, like, no matter the stage in life, you can create your own new Genesys
00:18:35
through that and then be an accurate representation.
00:18:39
Yeah.
00:18:40
And, I mean, if you take it down to even a micro level, that's actually kind of spurred a
00:18:43
thought is, like, it should just be like the way you start your day.
00:18:46
The genesis of every day is, like, you know, you're waking up intentionally.
00:18:50
Are you flying?
00:18:51
And I used to do this.
00:18:52
Right?
00:18:52
And it it was a miserable way of living, but are you flying out of bed, like, last minute
00:18:56
getting ready and just running to work and, you know, throwing stuff together?
00:19:00
Are you waking up intentionally setting some kind of, like, goal or expectation for yourself
00:19:04
that day with your health?
00:19:06
Are you being preventative about stuff?
00:19:08
It's like, hey.
00:19:08
I'd rather prevent something from happening, right, versus, like, having to react and then
00:19:14
rely on someone else.
00:19:15
Right?
00:19:15
What is the genesis of your your health?
00:19:17
And it comes down to, like, what we do put into our bodies every single day.
00:19:22
Yeah.
00:19:23
That's good.
00:19:24
There this goes on with saying there was a I got a lot of a lot out of my, quiet time this
00:19:29
morning.
00:19:30
Keep going.
00:19:30
I got a
00:19:31
little bit.
00:19:32
Yeah.
00:19:33
The this author had made another, small paragraph about God made each of us as unique
00:19:40
and treasured creations made in his image, and he shows us that his work is not only not only
00:19:47
to benefit the worker, but others.
00:19:49
And so he also shows us the work in any form as a gift from God and equips his people for their
00:19:56
work.
00:19:56
So when we're thinking about this, like, optimize health and what we're what that full
00:20:03
field and that purpose looks like is that whatever we're doing, we're actually not doing
00:20:08
it for with the intention of, like, just me personally, even though this is gonna help me,
00:20:14
but it's also gonna help other people.
00:20:16
And I think you had even mentioned, that before we even hopped on this podcast, it's like your
00:20:21
purpose should never be so inward focused.
00:20:24
Like, of course, you wanna look good.
00:20:26
I have this, like, mentality of every day, like, look good, feel good, play good.
00:20:31
Right?
00:20:31
So I wanna make sure I'm looking good to feel good so that I can play good.
00:20:34
But what is the purpose of that?
00:20:36
And then it's also to hold other people accountable.
00:20:38
I I mean, there's been countless of people that aren't even in our program that said, hey.
00:20:43
Thanks thanks for posting that.
00:20:44
Thanks for almost like holding me accountable because your work is not the intention of,
00:20:52
like, your work is not just for yourself.
00:20:55
It's for other people.
00:20:57
And then feed into that because I know that you were mentioning something about that, like
00:21:00
defining that level of purpose, right, not being just for you.
00:21:04
Yeah.
00:21:04
Of course.
00:21:04
Like, part of that whole diagram I just was talking about is, like, what does the world
00:21:09
need?
00:21:09
That's a huge that's a whole corner of it.
00:21:11
Right?
00:21:11
It's like, what does the world need, man?
00:21:13
And it doesn't need a bunch of people that are just so focused on themselves.
00:21:16
Service is at the heart of what you and I are doing.
00:21:19
If we can take a guy who's underperforming in his business or his life, right, so maybe his
00:21:26
family's having problems, maybe his his business is having issues, he's not able to
00:21:30
serve his clients, patients, whatever he does, and we can optimize his health.
00:21:34
He is going to be a better he's going to just be a better overall person to be able to then
00:21:39
go help other people.
00:21:40
Right?
00:21:41
And it's like, if you're not a 100%, how can you show up for others?
00:21:44
So that's that's where it kind of dials back is your purpose is always has to be in some
00:21:51
aspect, not about you.
00:21:53
Right?
00:21:53
But to get there, you do have to focus on you, and you have to make sure that you are in a
00:21:59
state that of of health mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, that then you can
00:22:05
serve others and and be excellent at it.
00:22:08
Yeah.
00:22:08
Yeah.
00:22:09
That's good.
00:22:10
Well, as we conclude this episode, I know that, there are some people definitely trying to find
00:22:16
a purpose, right now in their lives.
00:22:20
So I would encourage you.
00:22:21
I'm gonna show it again.
00:22:23
This, I would tell everyone to just go do something like this and and just get it out on
00:22:28
paper, man, or, like, write it down.
00:22:29
Like like, where where are you?
00:22:32
Right?
00:22:32
Like, what is the culmination of this stuff?
00:22:34
And if you can dial those things in, you're gonna get a lot more, you know, closer to where
00:22:39
you need to be.
00:22:41
I would encourage that and then supplement that too.
00:22:45
So I think writing it down is a crucial thing.
00:22:49
I always recommend that guys specifically get a journal.
00:22:53
So, like, when you have a journal that's just only dedicated to your thoughts, as you're in
00:22:58
this, like, kind of meditative state, I wake up every morning, and I get into the word.
00:23:03
I do use the Bible app.
00:23:05
So if you aren't familiar with it, you can just go on your app store, download the Bible app.
00:23:11
They got a lot of great, just programs that you can dial that in for anywhere from 2 days to 5
00:23:18
days to 30 days.
00:23:20
I like keeping them short anywhere from between 5 to 7, and then then I find new plans.
00:23:26
But download the Bible app.
00:23:28
I think it's a it's a great, useful tool.
00:23:30
I know that you just, you bought a Bible that you're getting a lot out of right now too, when
00:23:36
you're going into some quiet time and abiding study in the morning.
00:23:40
What what is that?
00:23:41
It's, here.
00:23:43
The men's daily bible.
00:23:44
It's really cool, man.
00:23:45
It's Christian standard bible, but, you know, they you go a couple pages of essentially some
00:23:51
scripture, and then there's a, like, insight for the day based on what you just read.
00:23:58
So, you know, it's it's there's an author to this.
00:24:00
So a guy kinda going through some of his story a bit, and he kinda tells stories to use to
00:24:05
kinda relate.
00:24:06
But it's really cool, man, because it's you know, I I think I get lost sometimes when I'm
00:24:11
just reading the especially the old testament.
00:24:13
You're just reading, and you're like, alright.
00:24:15
What is even happening here?
00:24:16
This is so unrelatable.
00:24:18
So having someone who's, you know, well versed in this to relate it back to kinda modern
00:24:22
times.
00:24:23
Right?
00:24:24
What we're dealing with is so different than what those guys were dealing with.
00:24:27
This guy's like, hey.
00:24:28
I'll give you this camel for 4 of your wives.
00:24:30
I'm like, how does I don't even know how to bring my life to that.
00:24:34
Right?
00:24:34
But it's like, you know, they he brings it all together and makes it it make a lot more sense.
00:24:39
So for for me, it's super helpful.
00:24:41
I I like it a lot.
00:24:42
It's been good.
00:24:43
I think that's huge, you know, for guys that really have invested a lot of time and then to
00:24:49
kinda narrate the story for you is huge.
00:24:50
Yeah, man.
